With all the debate regarding foreign companies, we need to look at four things.
1. Assembled in the USA Vs Made in the USA..
2. Percentage of US owned products put into the cars Made in the USA Vs. Companies who buy foreign products,, assembly them here in the US and sell them as a US part.
3. Out of 100 % of the parts in a car, some foreign companies say they have 75% US made parts… Right?? Okay I agree, But what % of the total cost of the car is US made??? Engine$$$ Trans$$$ Do they use US owned Steel?? Do they use US Tries owned by US companies??? Electronics??? Delphi supplies a very good electronic part but not for all Toyotas line of cars..
AND 4. Where does the money go… A car built in the USA owned by a foreign company Adds to our trade imbalance making it tough for Ford and GM.
Tell me again why you think a Toyota is US made car???? Japan is laughing at you…….
Some of their US manufactures…. Many more I just don’t have time..
