Bob shut the **** up, you do not know what you are talking about. You must not have watched the kansas race when bill finished 16th. You can say Derick Cope, and Morgan Shepard is just out there and thats all because they park it after 10 laps but you can not say that about Bill Elliott. If you were not such a dumb *** you would realize how hard it is for a part time team to run up front look at Labonte with hendrick. Put bill in a full time ems car and he would win races and contend to be in the chase even at the age of 51

Nice reply chis , if he worked in his pit he could only have seen him in a fire suit and I just don't know how any one could look like they were cross dressing in a fire suit. What that dude said is so dumb you can't even call it a rummer.

Bill Elliott should have walked away after Homestead 2003! He then would have left on top. He nows does the odd race in C grade equipment. Put him in a big buck car for the full season and look out the man can still out drive and out race most of them!

High-Side,Bill has nothing to prove anymore, he has done it allready. It was his choice to get out of the 9. If he wants to come play now and then thats his choice to. Ray asked him to drive the 10 then he asked him to drive the 19. Bill does not want to race full time. I think he would just race, but you can't with out doing all the pr work that goes along with it. He also could of drove for Waltrip full time, chose not to. Red Bull wanted him full time, chose not to. I herd Robert Yates wanted him full time, chose not to. Bobby Hamiltan wanted him to drive truck full time, chose not to. Bill was just helping some teams out this summer. He was not looking for a ride or trying to please anyone. All the cars he drove this summer was some team's old junk they sold off to grt rid of. The crews were firt timers that were training for next year. Bill sould'nt stay away because his old fans can't handle there buddies busting on them. Its harder to drive a bad car in 25th then it is to drive a good one in the top five. I know I race myself.

Put Bill Elliott in the Hendricks 48 and you got a top ten car instead of a top 3 car. Put Jimmie Johnson in the 37 and you've got a 25th place car instead of a 30th place with Bill. Age makes that much difference whether you believe it or not and it's not because the older driver isn't as good a driver as he ever was. It's because subconcously we drive differently as we grow older. Fifty year old drivers don't try to put a car in places a 25 year old driver will. Bill will be lucky to finish in the top 25 more than a couple of times. Thats just the way life is.
