Kyle busch was in the right kevin harvick needs to cool off almost every time I hear about a fight in NASCAR it has to deal with kevin blowing up and going crazy he needs to calm down I know it's got to be hard to deal with having a wife that wears the pants in the relationship but stop taking it out on the other drivers that u may dislike! I don't think Kyle should have been penalized but I have no say in it! All I can say is kevin needs to calm down and start acting like an adult!

Kevin Harvick stated on his official Twitter site Tuesday morning that he had been penalized by NASCAR for his post-race incident with Kyle Busch on Saturday night at Darlington. NASCAR, though, had not yet announced any penalties. Series officials are expected to make such announcements later today.

Harvick tweeted: "4 weeks probation and $25,000 fine ....I understand because of the car on pit road.''

A few minutes after that tweet, Harvick issued another responding to a fan who wrote him: "don't be pc Kevin, you didn't do anything wrong ... candy boy did.:)''... Harvick replied to that by tweeting: "I didn't say it was over ...'

Watup AP??? this is ncag, I had to change my screen name cause somebody sent me some bad stuff and killed my computer. I clicked on reply to reply to Ski and alarms went off and red writing saying my computer was in danger and then it died. i bought me a new one and am back. Pretty cowardly of someone to do stuff like that. Alls good now, better and more security. I took the old computer to the Geek Squad and they said it was fried, they called the authoraties and they have my old one now. i dont know what will happen from this point. Anyway, have a good weekend and be cool. And we all know KH will git Kyle, as he needs too. also, I read an article about Kyle and he has leins on his new garage for nonpayment to some sub contractors, he owes about 3 million and has hurt these folks business. what a good guy he is .....huh!!!!

It's pretty screwed up when people have time to make other people's lives miserable by destroying expenxive equipment like that. It's a F-ed up world I tell ya...

Thanks man!! Yeah its a really f...... world. I admit, I cuss and come on a little strong and I argue to the tenthth degree. But Im being real, I am myself. I was in a heated debate with someone when this happened, they have disappeared. I did say some things that really peeved them off, but it didnt merit killin my computer. The new one cost me twice as much as the old, and I bought it at the same place. But money aint the issue with me, its the fact that someone is a passive aggressive and instead of battling it out with posts on here , they invaded my computer and put a lot of my personel stuff in jeapardy. Just cause I disagreed and argued a point. aint that what this forum is for????? Oh well, where a tree falls, let it lay. Its all good now!!

Kevin needs to win some races. So he can be on the same level as kyle. harvic was gifted his ride,(lets not forget). Kyle has proven he can win in any division. Harvic is the puniest bully I have ever seen. What is he thinking? Lets just race the cars and see who can win. Kyle was trying to get away from Harvic on pit road. What was he doing out of his car? Seems like Kevin was the ass.

I agree with you but......lets not forget the fact that Kyle turned left real hard and got KH in his right back panel. Kyle meant to wreck KH and did........that aint cool. Clint Bowyer got the stinky end of the stick, two weeks in a row now.....poor guy!!

you missed the fact that harvic pushed kyle into the wall. kyle came off the wall and oh well Bowyer was in the wrong place. To be honest, I have been a nascar fan for 50 years. As soonas the restrictor plate came into being I lost most interest. Why build tracks to go fast and make them drive slow. anyone could have won the degga race anyone. Should have just run the last 5 laps. Why waste time.

Glad to meet you!! I too am a fan for 50 plus years myself. Im with you, them restrictor plates are a pain!! I guess I missed KH puttin KB in the wall, but I did see KB turn left real hard into KH. KB wrecked KH on purpose, they have a history. Who won the first race you saw and where was it???

Cup level is Big boy league - long distance endurance race. Every caution bunches the field up so any lead gets reset anyway so long as they stay on the lead lap.*Shrugs* The big track with no plate would be just like the smaller ones.

The plate races added a new element of close-proximity draft packs, and that's still evolving - from the regular draft to bump draft to push draft and now two-car tango... Not the same 'watch the bunch circle the track until the big one' stuff, but something new and different, quite original, I might add.

As someone who's driven them in sims online and off, I LOVE seeing those guys turn the game techniques we've been doing for a couple years into reality. Me especially, because I'm the best team mate anyone could ask for; -Basically wrote the BOOK on it! heheh

If you watch the replay on nascar.com you will see Bowyer come all the way up the track and bounce off of Harvick putting him in contact with Busch. That's what got them all loose up there.

I play the sim racing as well, PC and console, but I've also been a fan for almost 40 years.
When NASCAR introduced the restrictor plates something had to be done for the safety of the drivers and the fans. Now, with the safety improvements to the cars and tracks the need to artificially slow the cars is not needed and may infact be counter productive from a safety standpoint by ensuring that more cars get caught up in accidents on the track. I would love to see them atleast test an unrestricted COT at Daytona and see what the speeds are.

Make sense. My first instinct is that, the car won't be solo in race conditions, and the drivers all have instincts for plate racing, like drafting and pushing. Also factor in the amount of HP it takes to increase top speed against wind resistance when you're way up in the 220+ range.

Now that I think about it, who's to say they don't already have enough data to figure out what will happen? An educated guess would be enough: Car over the fence.

Drivers would have to use brakes or atleast lift in the corners, in others words they would actually have to drive the cars.

Rusty tested a pre-COT car at Talledega without a restrictor plate and reached 228mph. The COT would not achieve those speeds due to their having the areodynamics of a brick. I'm not an engineer but I would guess that they would top out in the 210-220 mph range. The drivers would adapt their racing style to the conditions of the race, just like they do every week.

WOW
So you think they'd need to brake or lift?

If that is what it took to make it through the corner without hitting the wall, yeah. Let the drivers and physics decide how fast they can race.

Carl's car was all up in the fence w/plates ON, and without pushdrafting. You trying to suggest having them go unrestricted with their knowledge of push drafting? lol Im saying it was dangerous enough with Kurt Busch out there anyway, and the last thing I want is him trying to drive faster LOL
