Geez Louise... this his past history.

I agree with you its over and done with, Jr has left DEI and is happy with his decision. And as Jr felt the right thing to do for him was to move to Hendricks, Threasa felt she made a decision that was best for the company. Plain and Simple

It is what it is and Jr is where he wants to be and TE has done what she feels is the best thing for her. Let it go people. Amen to that...

He put in a pretty disappointing season for his fans. I think he was very preoccupied with this ownership thing and it showed at the track. Notice I'm not posting my opinion on the Tony thread..they would tear me to pieces...LOL. I wish him success next year, but what in the world am I gonna do with all my orange HD stuff!!!

It seemed like Tony was pissed most of the season and was ready to move on, but sunday he looked pretty upset over this being his last race with JGR,and he spoke so highly of JD&JG. Tony is my 2nd fav driver after Jr of course LOL.I hear that the tony thread can be kinda harsh so I will stay away from there. Thats what I thought when Jr left DEI I had so much # 8 stuff and didnt know what I as gonna do but of course I just bought the new stuff but I wont part with the old stuff I have.

Senior should have left his children a part of DEI and not the whole deal to his last wife. I don't understnand why he did not include his children from his first marriages as they sacrificed during the building of the company too!!

Sr had no way of knowing he would die so soon so he wasn't prepared. This happens all the time.

The "point is" that you got the answer you were seeking, didn't like it, so now you're still arguing. You're a bore.

What makes people think that Junior couldn't do a good job or a better job running DEI then Teresa is? I mean, from a competition standpoint JR Motorsports is WAY more compettive then DEI. I am sure that Junior has some clue about what he is doing.
Oh and just for the record, here is a quote from Sr and how he envisioned the future of DEI going down. Note: This is an actual quote, no "I think he said" or "so and so said Sr said". It can be found in the Sports Illustrated special edition about the Earnhardt family.
"In the grand scheme of things I'd like Junior to take over DEI and run the entire operation. I'd like my other kids to be involved if they want. but Dale Jr has shown the most interest." Dale Sr.
Sounds pretty clear to me.

I'll ask this again.
Let's say Teresa sold 50% of DEI to Jr.
Should Teresa have kept the other 50% or should she have given it to Dale's other kids?

This was all settled 1 1/2 years ago. Jr is NOT part of DEI he now works for HMS and owns he's own racing teams at JRM. DEI is Teresa's business to do what ever she wants to do with it. Why try to start an arguement Jim?
