Trying to figure out he could have beaten Hendricks and make sure he doesn't do it again, is my guess.

That is complete BULLSHIT....

BOWYER won that race fair and square and they should take points away from him, maybe RCR and suspend the crew chief, but Frankly that's a LOAD of shit to penalize him 150 points at this stage in the Chase, He's completely SCREWED now.

Well if your car is out of spec I'd guess that might give you an advantage and a reason he did so well. I'd say Stewart put the screws to Bowyer by running out of gas. Bowyer was running second and would have gathered up a lot of championship points and not had his car inspected at all. After winning and being told at Richmond his car was out of spec and bordering on even falling outside the tolerances NASCAR took a better look. When they found out RCR did nothing to correct the Richmond problem they dropped the hammer. I'm thinking it is going to make the rest of the chase teams think twice about being innovative the rest of the way.

Tony put the screws to Tony, his team and nobody else. Boyers problems are on him and his team.

Bower and RCR are getting screwed. NASCAR told them last week that their car was legal but was too close to tolerance and that it would be taken this week for reinspection. Who in his right mind is going to bring a car they know isn't legal to a race that they already know is going to be taken for inspection regardless of where it finishes. NASCAR has plans for whom they want to win the championship and they have already started their process of elimination of the drivers in his way.
