It stops being "his personal life" the second he leaves his house or his hotel or his motorhome whatever and gets in a car and drives. Whether that be a personal car, or a race car, it is inexcusable.

You say you are "sure that no NASCAR driver is going to get loaded before he goes out and races" but media evidence indicates that there HAVE been drivers with drug problems. Aaron Fike, Shane Hmiel, to name a few. And maybe they didn't "get loaded" before a race, and maybe they did. That's not even relevant - drugs are an addiction, and if NASCAR hadn't immediately barred them, had they not found out earlier, there's no telling what would happen.

Actually Aaron Fike admitted that he did heroine last summer before getting into his truck to race. This is one of the main reasons some of the drivers are so upset (and I don't blame them). It's really scary to think a driver is racing at 200 MPH while high. I think it would be great if they did random drug testing.. Nothing wrong with that at all. Maybe a half dozen a week. Companies do it all the time especially with drivers.

Its HIS personal life, but when a driver gets into a race car with 800+horsepower and drives at 190+mph, thats a deadly weapon and had better not be impaired by drugs. If he'd wreck and hurt or kill someone, thats the end of his career.

And what if he is out on the highways, under the influence and is involved in an accident?

If a race car driver wants to go get high - let him retire first!

Besides - if you have nothing to hide, whats the problem?

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Capricorn

Someone is being very pedantic and picky, and they'll soon drive you round the bend with frustration. They're splitting hairs about all sorts of petty problems, but unfortunately you won't be immune from this yourself. You might get caught up in needless details that don't really matter, or take everything that happens very personally. Try to be more objective.
