Stewart, Johnson among those asking for drug tests

I have been in a race with him and I know for a fact that he's not the only one Tony Stewart announced on Friday at Phoenix International Raceway that Subway would be the primary sponsor on the No. via Fox Sports

I can't believe NASCAR hasn't "stepped up to the plate" about drug testing before all this happened. I mean if it can happen in other sports it can happen in NASCAR. Clean'em out and everyone will be safer!

I agree with Tony, not only should drivers be tested before EVERY race, but I also think the pit crews and anyone in the garage directly involved with the vehicles should be tested as well.

I think it is very telling that NASCAR won't test. I personally think they don't want the bad publicity when some fail. Helton, if you know your teams will pass then test to prove it.

That's why I said that NASCAR needs to get more involved in this, and not just depend on the individual teams to ck their drivers.

It's mandated in every other sport why not here? This is one of the most necessary sports to have testing at. Why it hasn't ever come to fruition yet is beyond me.

wow!! I sure would hope Nascar would FINALLY get their head out of their ass and do drug testing before someone kills or hurts someone else while driving!! I assumed Nascar did at least random testing,,, well hopefully this will change and Nascar can use some of the "Penilty" money for testing
