If Nascar doesn't then they have to let Shane Hemi and Tyler Walker back in, but hopefully Nascar does the right thing and suspends him to set him straight.

My gosh..........are we not people that are so quick to judge others?

Does any one actually know the true facts? I for ne am sick of rumors and gossip!

Even if this is true, what right do we have to judge a person we don't know?

How many of us fans on this race forum can say we have not done something that has hurt another person, or made a mistake? I would be willing to guess, that none of us is without a sin or two!

ok tina, sloooow down.
I don't think anyone is casting judgment in the sense of judging one's heart. I believe they're presenting their opinions based on what has been printed and learned...nothing wrong with that.
Now, if you still have an issue with what you believe to be "judging" someone, then I'd suggest you come to understand what judging means. All of us have a right to "judge" anothers behavior/actions based on morals and values, etc. However, one should not judge anothers heart, for no one knows what that person is thinking.
I could go on...but I won't. The point is; people have opinions on such things, just like you do. In essence, you're judging others by what they are voicing just because you don't agree with their opinion. It's a vicious circle...is it not?

aaron is a good kid. people do make mistakes. no one can judge except god. he will be taking the proper treatment to get himself better. instead of everyone putting forth negativity, why dont you give positive words of reinforcement and just wish him the best. no one on these blogs knows him or casey personally, and its so disheartening to hear everyone bash him when no one knows really what happened and what his personal life may entail. I can tell you that his family loves him very much and have always been an active role in his life. i can assure you aaron has never raced under the influence of any drugs, and would never put himself or anyone else on the track in harms way. I hope that people can look past all this crap, and focus on his talent as a racer. No one who is using heroin could ever be in the running for rookie of the year, or be 8th in points. Aaron we love you, and we are behind you 100%!

<quoted text>How can you say no one is passing judgement on here? The very first post says "Kick his ass out!". What do you call that? There are too many people that are ready to kick someone to the curb when they screw up. What if he were your son or husband or even father, would you want give him a chance to redeem himself. People need to look in their own closets before saying such things. I can say from experience that a drug problem can be overcome and the person can make a complete comeback because I did it. It is no different than alcohol or gambling or prescription drug addidctions. If someone needs and wants help we need to give it to them. These people as I don't even know this person or the circumstances so unless you are a saint and led a perfect life you need to be open minded and qiut throwing stones on others.
thank you. amen.

shane hmiel wasnt committing felonies....
TB Chief wrote:
They will not ban him for life If this is his first offense. Shane Hmeil failed several tests before finally getting banned for life. He will have to go through treatment and a suspension more than likely and be subject to constant testing but if he is guilty and if he chooses he will be able to turn his life around and return to racing.

Sorry, what I should have said was he wasnt INDICTED of any crimes... got me on technicality.

I thought he was pulled from dover after failing the 2nd test. The 3rd failed test was supposedly during his "rehabilitation" I could be wrong. I dont think they ever made public what drugs he was on.

This all should end here and now. Friends and fans have shown faith and tried to show support as expected. Others made crude statements that are not and never will be accepted by NASCAR or their fans, as true fans, we I would hope that by forgiving them they will learn compassion for the all people that make mistakes. When found guilty they will pay what is due, in this case even more. Attacking the family is just wrong, constructive discussion is good but in these blogs the armatures went too far. Anyway they get a pass and we hope this friendly effort will end this forever .Please for NASCAR and the family let this end.
