Anyone want to call Bull on that comment that the Watkins Glen incident had nothing to do with this.......

Imo I do not think it had anything to do with it. Qualifing has always been a problem at MWR. The do not have to many races to get that car in the top 35 and secure a spot for the race or to secure a spot in the top 35 for the beginning of next year.o me.

well, if that incident had to do with this, I appauld Michael Waltrip for giving McDowell a time out.. that crash was horrendous
I can hear MW saying "I do that kind of stuff by ACCIDENT... we can't deal with this intentional stuff!!"

Gilland and Mcdowell came together caused a big wreck took 7 cars out. They had bumping and banging for a few laps.

I saw that on the highlight clip, didn't realize he was one of them in it, that was bad!

HE took gilliand out. It was obvious that was deliberate.

I'm not sure Skinner can do any better than McDowell though. We've seen this where they throw drivers in a car with high hopes and they either don't make the race or have a mediocre day.

As far as I am concerned they both brought on themselves. Both to blame.

Skinner was able to get the 84 where it was needed to be.

True, but it's still a risky move. It may not pay off, but I guess that's just part and partial to being a team owner.

As a member of McD's family, this is just the beginning for Mike, its all about racing and behind the scene issues. He will be just fine for future races.

I wonder what Bobby LaBonte's opinion on the issue is. He got a trip to the hospital courtesy of the crash.

If you can't handle the outcome of the Race Track then dont race. It can be anyone out there getting injured, its one of those things you consider before you sign the contract. You think going over 160 miles an hour in a cramped space like that things dont collide? Was not done on purpose.

I'm sorry but I've watched the replays and what happened was deliberate or stupid, one of the two. So, if you say it wasn't deliberate then it was downright stupid.

Looked like a racing deal to me. They both were banging of each other. Besides if it was done on purpose Nascar would have handed out fines and teams would have lost points.
