I guess a woman would have to write such trash as this A.J. is more of a driver than sadler ever was or will be. He proved that last season, sex appeal doesn't win races, and that is all you are basing your article on. Sadler will not win another race, not only doeshe suckas a driver, who wants a driver tha is going to sue every timethings don't go his way. WATCH AND SEE!!!!!!

Sadler is not a bad driver. He may have had a bad year, but his car, crew chief, and pit crew s***ed!!!!!! I don't think having AJ running the last few races for GEM amounts to a hill of beans. I am happy that Sadler got to finish out his contract. This is a lesson for all other teams. Don't break a contract, let sponsors tell the driver or you will pay.

The only reason AJ ran so well the end of the season was because of his equipment. They were trying to get that car in the top 35. Elliott and Kasey were already in the top 35. Elliott is not a bad driver. His crew chief sucked last year, never knew what changes to make to the car, always asked Elliott what changes to make. IT's his f***ing job to make the changes and if you don't know which ones to make it better, then you need to get another job.

I see your chain of reason is about as bad as your ability with the English language. Sponsor pressure placed on GEM was what put Elliott back into the car. Even a blind chicken can see that a car with no logos on the quaters does not stand much of a chance at winning races. I do not think, nor have I ever thought, that Elliott Sadler is one of the best drivers out there, however, he is kind of like Joonyer, better on stage than in the driver's seat.

Was Elliot ever "officially" let go from GEM? Seems like everything I read was NOT confirmed by GEM nor 'Dinger. As the week went on, the whole situation appeared to be a soap opera without any facts.

We'll never know what happened. And as far as I'm concerned, the word "lawyer" should be considered a four letter word. I somehow doubt Elliot came up with the lawsuit ideas on his own - it was someone else looking out for his best interests (or making up something interesting for the media).

No matter who makes the decision processes concerning the car, Elliot is driving the #19 and IS in the top 35. Even if he was 45th, I'd rather see him in the #19 than his dirty laundry airing predecessor!!!

I talked to Bell last weekend during this whole mess and she said they were trying to get their ducks all in a row when asked about Elliott having a ride. I'm guessing she is the brains behind this whole operation and she talked to Elliott about what to do. She is a very smart, business savvy woman.

Have to agree that we will never know. In a later post (can't remember who posted) said it was possible Bell was behind it all. The whole mess does have a few markings of an inside job (JMO). Maybe the whole thing was as you said, "making up something interesting for the media" and I am adding, "To distract the media, fans, etc. away from the upcoming big event and putting someone in their place and make it clear that racing comes first". Sorry about the run on sentence. Anyway, JMO
