Well then why didn't Harvick tell on them? If he thought that? Hello! I'd like to know who he thought was on something.

I guess its kind of like your best friend doing drugs. You're not sure what to do because you don't want to make waves but it sure pisses you off.

For example, you go out drinking with co-workers (wait I know what that is? That's surprising isn't it? Seeing that I have no life!) and they all get s-faced but you don't feel comfortable taking the keys. But it sure does make you angry that they're driving home. Sometimes it's hard when you don't know your place.

He implied that whoever this was that was stoned had been suspended though, so I guess that's a good thing in the long run.

Was the dude implying that Brian France is an alcoholic? I don't follow that part too much so I may have missed that story in the past.

Brian France does not get behind the wheel of a car going ungodly speeds on Sunday (or Saturday this week)...to each his own if they want to drink.

I am sure their are some guys that drink the night before who knows just as long as they are not drunk when getting in the car on raceday i dont care.

heroin and all the other damn drugs are another thing.

Normal everyday jobs do surprise drug tests i agree with Harvick on this one...there should be surprised 'drops' on other drivers and crew... i am sure we would be shocked on who would be going to mandatory rehab after they failed

Yeah if that was the case but if he knew someone was messed up and racing he should have told on him. If he knew they were under the influence while driving. Still I think people don't want a drug abuser on the track.

Why do you say you have no life? I don't go out but I don't think I'm missing anything by not going out. Just wondered what you meant by that.

Whenever I see Mikey Waltrip slumped in the chair and babbling on those dopey NASCAR talk shows, he certainly appears to be drunk or stoned.

Its a jab at myself. I made the mistake of getting married too early, and therefore never really did what most kids do in their early twenties, so now I'm 25 and divorced and don't do much. I'm trying to readjust to being a young adult. I grew up way too quickly.

he is sooo trying to remember the BS lines that he prepared to promote his sponsor and NASCAR, that he seems to be stoned... when I look in his eyes after he is interviewed and I realize that he is only in his car because he is now an actor, it scares me. He,amongst the other 42, can have an effect on races... we have to pray that his soul is not for sale when it comes down to messing with races.. I hope that NASCAR will be watching to see if drivers who are but speed bumps try to be involved in how others get around the track.. I will not ever forget when Sterling Marlin blocked Tony all the way around Richmond the year that Tony did not make the chase.. I liked Sterling up until that point.. then I saw that he made the decision to have Kasey in a dodge make it in the chase over Tony is a Chevy... and that truly stunk. Mikey drives a Toyota, but it would be wrong for him to act in a way to mess with the race.

25 is so young.. my daughter and her friends are 24 and they go out and have tons of fun. Forget that you were married and divorced and be yourself.. you are a very nice person

well, he did say recently that he likes to act and would like to be an actor.. maybe he can do that,,, maybe he can do a show to promote NASCAR and all sorts of racing for children. Maybe he could be the Mister Rogers of racing.. or maybe he could be like the engineer on Thomas the Tank engine, but with race cars!!! that would be COOL!

Mister Rogers of Racing.

Now that's kinda scary.

IMHO, Brian France is a drunk himself and always looks under the influence of something. IMHO, he is probably afraid to implement a policy for fear of being tested himself. IMHO, I hope he doesn't ruin what his father and grandfather built. IMHO, he is a bad bathroom incident waiting to happen.

Just my opinion folks, don't crucify me. I've been noticing "a look" on Brian France for a couple of years and am not the least bit impressed, and have serious concerns for whatever he is in control of.
Drivers racing under the influence should be a permanent black flag, but that order is more likely to come from Mike Helton than Brian France, IMHO.

I am pretty sure that the reason Brian did not get to run NASCAR until his father died is because his dad knew he wasn't ready for the job. I think that Mike Helton really runs it. I think they need to get somebody in there who knows what they are doing because they should not switch to a new car, insisting that the teams will all be able to handle the switch, and at the same time not make the tire manufacturer be ready and prepared for the next season until maybe the week before a race..somebody needs to get with the times.

Mikey has been acting (like an idiot) for a long time now. He could be the star in the next Forrest Gump movie.

Oh, I was wondering what you meant. I've had the same boyfriend I live with for the last 8 years and he drives me nuts. At least you didn't stay in a unhappy marriage. I would love to have my freedom :)

I got so up set at Shane the way he treated Dale Jarrett and contacted his sponsor. He was tested the next week and oops he was gone. That was his second time he had been caught. He was tested the 3rd time and failed it to so now he is banned for life.....
