So what? He's not good at Dega it's understandable. I don't think you have a clue what goes on in the car.

Not CE. He was too busy playing around in the back all day and spinning himself out on pit road. In my opinion he was not in the right mindset for this race. All his interviews prior to the race were a little scattered. Even his crew chief was bringing him in after all the other cars pitted just to be on the safe side and he still spun himself out. I just don't think he was all there on Sunday.
That was funny when he spun out.

But what they were doing was smart if you think about it. Avoid all the traffic on pitroad, and try to avoid all the wrecks. Just wait till the end and work your way up front. What he did to GB was what everyone was doing it just didn't work out as well...LOL

He knows how to control the COT, and that's why he is winning more races than Jr is.
Well Sunday he did not control the COT.

I can only wonder if y'all would think carl made such a 'dopey' mistake had he not taken jr. out. If he were so bad at drafting he would have caused a wreck long before he did... someone was gonna cause something the way they were racin out there.

He has a brain thank you. Maybe that
is why he is still in contention for the cup and Jr is not.
I hope that your not implying that Jr. doesn't have a brain.

Regardless if he took Junior out or not, it was a stupid move that ended vhampionship hopes for a bunch of guys. I have to believe that racing in the back of the pack is a bit different from the front.

Not necessarily... like the broadcasters said, the 'big one' can happen from anywhere on the track, whether its by no fault of any driver or whether it is by driver error. The thing is that a driver can make a mistake real quick at a place like 'Dega and things get outta hand really fast. I'm not saying that Edwards didn't make a mistake, I just hate it when people try to take away from a driver's talent because of one accident. All the drivers out there have messed up at one time or another, but that don't mean they all gotta return to go-karts or that they ain't got brains.
