Kenseth might have had the best car in the Fedex 400 at Dover International Speedway before his Toyota’s engine blew about 159 laps into the race.

If Toyota can get their engines to hold up, JGR could be a real threat for the title. maybe they're pushing too hard? Who knows. I just don't want engine failures to be the reason Matt doesn't win the title.

JGR has won Cup championships building their own engines. After the last fiasco with Kenseth costing the team points due to an engine out of tolerance, TRD is looking pretty bad.
The Gibbs cars seem to suite Kenseth extremely well, it would be a true shame to cost him a championship because of TRD 's inability to legally produce a reliable engine. I may be more of a fan of Matt than Toyota, but its time for Gibbs to look at other options.

Very good point. How long ago were they building their own engines?
