There is something perversely satisfying about a guy like Kyle Busch dominating NASCAR, as he did again Sunday by winning the Dodge/Save Mart 350 in the luscious wine country.

I don't think anyone can doubt that there is talent in the "Pee Wee Herman" type character. The attitudue adjustment factor is real. He'll end up like his brother an arrogant fart in the wind. A note on his winning ways; "This too shall pass"

Granny, please explain exactly how my disdain for this person is jealousy! I do not now nor have I ever liked Rowdy or his brother. How conceded he is to give himself his own nickname? He's a pompous, argumentative, presumptuous, arrogant, condescending, horses fanny! I have never felt such disdain for any driver! Not jealously as I can and have said he can drive. The talent is obvious he just needs a personality transplant.

He intentionally spun out Jr and in Nationwide very obviously (just check the car cam of his wheels turning) spun out Hornaday. The guy is just scum. Whatever talent he has is reversed by the way he cheats.

What is wrong with Kyle's style? Maybe the other drivers should "wake up" and anticipate his intimidating style out on the track and get creative about their defense strategy? Kyle wants to win, that's obvious, but to complain about him "spinning out" his competition doesn't make sense, it makes all of you look like whiners! If any one of these drivers would expect Kyle to do this to them, they wouldn't be spun out in the first place! none of you make any sense...and no I am not a Kyle fan...I don't know anything about him, but you all cry like babies when he wins.

People, when will you get it? Kyle Bush, this year, is the best thing going in NASCAR, without Kyle Bush you would have nothing to talk about except for the fall of Hendrick Motor Sports as far as a powerhouse team. Kyle Bush IS just like Dale Earnhardt Sr. in so many ways that it is not funny. Kyle is agressive, feels no intimidation from the "Established Stars", feeds off of the negative vibes from the stands and the negative print of the media as well as the negative whines from other drivers, same as Sr. did.
The Jr. fans are all upset because people outside of the Jr. ring of fans can see how despite the best efforts of NASCAR to promote Jr. as the face of NASCAR, he has not quite filled the void left by the "Old Man". There can be no question that despite the fact that NASCAR will not "Cheat" to give Jr. wins, NASCAR will always look at the close calls from an angle of how can we help Jr. to help us in our multi million dollar promotion of him as the "Face of NASCAR".
A couple of years ago both NASCAR and IRL pinned their hopes for increasing fan base on two individual drivers, Jr. and Danica, both young fairly good looking kids who had a magnetic way with people and the press. Despite flashes of greatness, neither have lived up to this pressure filled position both were placed in.
Prehaps now, NASCAR might realize that down through time it has been the friction between drivers that has caused the lasting interest like, Petty-Pearson, Petty_Allison, Waltrip-Earnhardt and the cut short by AIDS Earnhardt-Richmond fights that has caused the most "Water Cooler, now internet conversation on Mondays through Thursday.

NASCAR 101, I could not agree with you more, this is another thing Kyle has in common with Dale Earnhardt Sr. I said for many years that Sr. became the "Intimidator" because he was the only driver out on the track driving in a 1960 style in the 1980s. Sr. got away with his overly agressive style because NASCAR saw that he was bringing new interest to the sport that was expanding even past the traditional NASCAR fans.
NASCAR might wake up to the fact that Kyle is doing the same thing in 2008 and prehaps if some of the other drivers would learn from him, racing would be more interesting and there might be fewer fans at the tracks looking like empty seats.
Before Kyle Bush, I thought Denny Hamlin might be a comming star and I hoped so as I have seen Denny race from his days at Capital City Speedway in Karts, to Southside Speedway to South Boston, however, this year Denny has had this season long problem of the Medical issue of "Enlargement of Head Disease" This fact was made prefectly clear with the Issue in the Nationwide race with the #88 and the punkish whine on the TV interview after the race. I still remain a "Low Key" Hamlin fan and hope that he will grow up and realize that he is owed NOTHING on the track and must, everyday, earn what he gets and not expect people just to move over because he is "The Great Denny Hamlin".

I haven't followed the sprint series for very long now, my brother introduced me 1.5 years ago, so I never really knew Dale Sr. or his style, and I have to admit I am not that impressed with the races, but if Kyle is as aggressive as they say he is, he would be worth watching! I see aggressive behavior on the track as a sign this driver want's to win! playing safe is good, but if a driver can add that aggressive edge too, this is great for spectators! I can really get drawn into that kind of nail-biting experience. I don't know this Hamlin person, sorry. It is nice to read where someone can compare Dale Sr's driving to someone racing now. Thanks! Have a great night.

The difference is that most of us admit he is a good driver, we just dont like Kyle's personality. You Jr haters despite hiw wins bash him constantly even when he is doing well.
No we get accused of bashing by simply asking a question...
Big no no on here to question his credibility as a racer.
I do get a really kick out of the posters who continually praise his character but have yet to meet the man and in reality know nothing of him away from his TV interviews.

No brainiac Junior did not cheat by passing the pace car. He did not gain position on the track by doing it and Nascar agreed. When Nascar told him to stop he did and he won the race PLAIN AND SIMPLE.:rolls eyes: LET IT GO!
