The whole world knows what he did, and to lie about it just compounds his problems. We are a forgiving society, he will be forgiven.

This isn't watergate or national security issue or drug dealing....it's racing
If I were Bowyer I'd go on letterman and laugh about it....
He got caught, was penalized...time to move on
I hope truex and Bowyer finish 1-2 at the next race...Frankly, team racing might be more interesting

Thats not the way to handle it at all. He needs to come clean just like Andy Petite did as opposed to Barry Bonds, people have forgotten Petite took HGH. Yeah he got caught but right now people think "liar, liar" when they see him!

I think there's a difference between steroid/drug use and spinning a car...

Maybe it's comparable to a corked bat or intentionally walking a batter...

I think the worst thing about Richmond was the implied intention of a owner to payoff a team to sandbag...

It's just like the whole bounty scandal that the New Orleans Saints went through last year in the NFL.

So following your logic, maybe NASCAR should ask each team if they have any parts or set-ups that may be unapproved ahead of each race...
How many would say "yes"?

Don't know, that just a hypothetical situation you are creating that you or I do not know the answer to...... question has not asked on national TV by respected sports announcer. But if you deliberatly lie when asked a question says something about your character! As I said theres lyin and telling the truth.... a yes or no situation, and when the whole world knows your lying and you choose to stand by your bul$hit story says a lot about you as a person.

I hope Bowyer never wins another race and if he went on letterman most people would turn the TV off. That liar did not deserve to be in the chase. I noticed he had a nasty looking beard last week to try to hide his shameful face. He sure looked nasty. I guess 5 hr energy needs to be boycotted for sponsoring that low life......
