Because every time they see the flashing lights on the pace car they slam on the brakes and bail.

Because when NASCAR executives aren't screwing up stock car racing, they're busy hosting cross burnings. LOL

Have you ever observed blacks driving . seat pushed into rear seat, can not see , the Detroit lean, no seat belts and can NOT drive.. period....
Plus I agree. we should ask why there is a Miss Black AmericA Contest? no whites allowed but they sure get into the Miss America contest.
racial profiling???

Great idea!! Start a division of Nascar for African- Americans. Let's see: cars must be at least 24 inches off the ground, wheels will be a min of 24", seat has to be at rear of car, four door cars ok, plastic side windows, clear not black,no bodies past 1980 limited to Buicks,Olds,Caddys, and Crown Vics. Automatic trans only and motors will have certification of over 100,000 miles. Jumper cable connections outside of body . Mandatory stops for oil every 25 laps,Sterios ok unless it registers louder than exhaust. Coverage could be on BET. Gentlemen,ya'll start them motors up now,ya hear?

It's cuz they can't get IN the car with saggy pants and DRIVE with a hoodie on. They're afraid their GUN will fall out when jump in the car. They're afraid to "put a helmet on" because it doesn't "feel right". On top of all that there's NO radio with BASS in the car.

Actually a black man was one of the first to win Daytona hen it was dirt on the beach! Quit being so mean people. I've been going to NASCAR races since 1989, and since 2007 I have noticed and enjoyed seeing more and more African Americans at the races. Their descent black folks, not your thugs off the street.

Give credit where credit is do, their watching a white mans sport... We have watched them in Football, Basketball, and GOLF.Jut to name a few.

But in reality I really don't believe black men can sit or drive that fast for that long. Black men can't drive, like white men can't dance ...lol.

They can drive pretty hard but there would have to be spike strips instead of a checkered flag.

Are you saying that their attention spans are too short, like NASCAR's paper super star?

On the serious side, we will hear a lot from Darrell in the future as he is is coming up the ranks. At this point the TV commentators, the print and TV news people would do the world a great favor if they would refer to him as what he is. A young driver showing his skills that will be in the big league soon. DROP THE AFRICAN AMERICAN and BLACK references every time his name is mentioned. We've had it up to here with: "Danica,Danica,Danica, fem ale, woman, poor thing, those big ole mean boys knocked her out of a race again". Let him stand on his skills and not try to make him what they used to call a "token". Good luck Darrell

I see where you're coming from and I completely agree. The kid is really good and his talent alone will take him far. They really do need to drop the minority thing.

Thanks! They need to do the same for Tiger. We know he's a GREAT golfer, but let him be an American golfer, not an African- American golfer regardless of what lineage he may have in his background. The media should be more responsible by helping unify the population instead of driving a wedge between the people of ALL races. Do I hear a second to that motion?
