Gm's Bridge to 2010: GM cuts could hit all levels of racing
Nothing at GM is off-limits -- including its high-profile NASCAR program -- company executives warned as the automaker went public Tuesday in Detroit with its latest round of cost-cutting measures.

With Ford, GM and Dodge converting to sub compact hybrid cars there isn't much NASCAR is going to do for them anymore. There will be no relationship between what the consumer can buy and what is being raced.

I guess I will just sit on my Italian made couch, drink Belgium beer, and root for Toyota or whoevers left and remember when Americans were the industry giants.

KLC, that may be your only choices. And for now I just don't see NASCAR vehicles with pedals in them.
