had a feeling it would be him. the kid is really good in racing. but just wonder if he is ready for the cup series. some of the nationwide drivers went up and are still struggling.

He may be driving the car but he won't replace Tony until he wins at least two championships. He has huge shoes to fill regardless what you think of Tony personally.

IMO, it's way too early to put him in Cup even if he's "sliced bread"! Oh well, he's in for quite an initiation from the Cup boys.

I think JGR can make this kid great. It's not going to be easy but he'll make something of this.

I just hope it doesn't ruin the kid by putting him up in the cup series to soon.

Anyone remember Casey Atwood?

I really think this was a bad idea. The kid needs some more seat time in the Nationwide series. I hope if he doesn't have success right away they don't kick him to the curb. Cup racing can be a tough thing to get a grasp on.

Once Newman signed on with Stewart, and Truex back with DEI, all signs pointed to Logano.

I like this kid, he's got loads of potential. The thing that scares me is the transition from the "old car" in Nationwide to the CoT. Not to mention the lack of seat time he's had in any of NASCAR's big 3 series

It will be intresting to see how Logano fars next year. He'll have the car I'm sure but it will be intresting to see if he can click with Zippy. Ill be pulling for him. I think he'll be fine! Good luck KID!

Good thing he doesn't have to fill his firesuit, lol, he'd have to go on a severe eating binge, lol!

He'll never fill Tony's shoes and I think it's too soon to move him to Cup. I think EVERY driver should have at least one year of Nationwide experience before moving up.

I think he's cocky and arrogant and he and Kyle will end up having issues with each other.

I think he is an extremely talented young driver and he and Zippy will be a force to reckon with.

I'm a little leary of his age, but in every interview I've heard, he's knowledgeable and modest.

I watched him race from the rear of the field to the top 10 at what I think was his first time at Bristol - he's smart and patient. If not for trouble at the end I think he would have had a great finish.

Other than being an impressive driver, I don't see that he and Tony have much in common. It will be interesting to see them race against each other next season. Good Luck to both!

Joe Gibbs knows how to handle young mens attitudes. He does it all year round between the NFL and NASCAR, they will all be fine. Judging from their ages, fine for a lot of years to come!

Denny's out of there the first opportunity he gets! He doesn't like playing second to anyone.

As of late he doesn't seem real pleased with his own team either - negative comments about making the Chase. And I'm not sure he really clicked with Tony and Kyle anyway, but I think he thinks the world of Joe Gibbs.

Or burned out, or gets an "how did Nascar survive without me" attitude. Harvick had that mindset a few years ago, but is maturing into a decent driver and, with Delana's help, a smart businessman.

Right now Joey seems to have a level head on his shoulders - and strong family support.
