Nascar has forced modifications to cars in the past when they thought one manufacturer had an advantage...look it up...this isn't something new or something that they are doing against Toyota. This has happened years before Toyota was even a part of Nascar. There have been modifications to engines, spoilers and other parts of the cars . Your a Tony Stewart supporter and your actually talking about someone being a "Cry Baby"??? LOL

1 yep...remember 2001 or 2002, when every week some manufacturer was given a modification? one week, one would take an inch off the spoiler, while another would put one on. |

1 Here's a quote from nascar.com : A garage source told Sporting News that Edwards' peak horsepower was measured at 611, compared with 632 for the No. 20 Toyota, 628 for the No. 40 Dodge and 612 for the No. 88 Chevrolet. Why are the Fords and Chevy's so far behind Dodge and Toyota??? |

Maybe they arent doing enough Reserch and devlopement like Toyota and Dsadge have been doing for years or maybe chevy teams and ford teams should work togather to figure it out. Yes I am a Tony fan but he sure isnt a cry baby have you heard him cry about not winning this year yet and his teammates have?? Hell no he is just doing what he needs to do. He will get his win very soon and maybe even a championship this year. |

1 Because Rousch is to busy thinking up things to complain about. This year the Toyotas last year he had fit because Hendrick found a loop hole that allowed his cars to test at Non Nascar tracks. If put as much time and energy into his Fords he would have them winning races. |

1 I think that's the case. Chevy and Ford either can't or will not throw the money into their R&D programs like Toyota and Dodge have and therefore they want a break. I hope NASCAR doesn't do anything but tell them to get it together. These guys work hard to build the best engines possible and because others either can't figure it out or are unwilling to put the time and effort into it they are given other breaks to make them more competitive. I don't see that as fair. |

1 Chevy has a new engine but for some reason Nascar will not approve it. They've been trying all season. It was the drivers that started bringing it up on pre/post-race shows and I guess the heat started getting too hot for Nascar and maybe just maybe they are going to allow the other manufacturers catch up. |

1 They run the R07 in the cup series but not the Nationwide series. Nascar will not allow it, they say they need to review it first and first has been going on all season. Yet Toyota is allowed to use the same engine in both series. |

You're right.. The only problem is Toyota has a bigger engine and is cranking out the HP. Nascar is dragging their feet on approving the same advantage engine for Chevy where they could work on cranking out more HP. Nascar needs to put a fire under their butts. |
