catch yourself on. anyone can drive like Vetel if they had the same fixed car. Lets have a proper look at it. How can a F1 drive gain 2.4 seconds in less than 1 lap

Vettel should retire soon to avoid the embarrassment he's going to face when he no longer has the best car.No more blown diffussor bullshit and driving on rails advantage.F1 creates so much illusion about drivers when it's all about the fricken car!!

It isn't all just the car. Yes, it has clearly been the best, but he's still a very skilled driver. His skill shows in his consistent outperformance of his team mate. He also jumped up to the top of the Top Gear board of F1 drivers, although Hamilton and Webber later dropped him a bit, though after their second runs. Vettel's only Top Gear test track run is still third on the list, which is really good.

Regarding the best car, I don't think that will change much for 2014. Sure, the rules are changing and the cars are changing, but Red Bull still have the top engineer in the business. Adrian Newey isn't likely to forget how to design dominating cars, so he will likely build one of the best, if not the best, car for 2014.
