Married psych doctors charged with stealing $250,000

These people happen to be entirely innocent. All the charges are false.. every last one.

The therapy sessions that took place were led by qualified individuals way prior to 2005 -- before licensing was prerequisite, the "double-dipping" on group and individual sessions is a fabrication. The fact is that evidence was manufactured -- stay tuned, the truth always comes out (eventually).

Just because there is an indictment does not mean that people are guilty. Careful not to rally in ignorance about a case for which you have no first hand knowledge.

These people are totally innocent. They gave amazing treatment and saved people's lives. I saw it myself. There were people who couldn't function at all, recieved treatment for schizophrenia from them and now are back at work leading productive lives.

Patients received 2 hours of treatment incuding individual therapy, group therapy AND art therapy and the Miran's only billed for 20 min of individual treatment. Hardly overbilling. Most of their money to run the program and do treatment came from a grant and they gave most of the services for FREE.

BTW, this prosecuter has been trying to extort $500,000 for almost 4 years. He shut down there business, ruined their lives and has NO evidence to support these claims.

They are good people and do not deserve this at all.

I think that the prosecutor has a personal grudge against them. I think that all charges should be dropped.

Good people who helped others with a great traetment programe mental. They throw people in jail for that ? Where is the justice in that ?

Exactly what I was thinking: white, from the burbs and freaking out that they're being treated like criminals being put in jail with all that scary riff-raff (i.e., black)...cause like he said "his life is being threatened" in that awful place. Well bud: white, black, asian or whatever!- you commit a crime, jail's the one place that doesn't discriminate. The welcome sign is for any race or religion and being a white doctor makes you no less guilty or innocent than the local city drug dealer.

They definately owe their patients money. If I was going to a therapist, who was a fake, I would want my money back. If you buy a chevy, but get a ford wouldn't you want your money back? I would demand that my money be returned. It's misrepresentation. Unethical!!! Illegal! I would sue. As someone that works in the helping profession, I'm disgusted and feel terrible for their patients. Whose advocating for them? They obviously needed help, but were duked. If there patients didn't have trust issues before, they do now. I think there should be a price tag on that!

MaryLiv, yes they are a very nice Jewish couple just like Bernard Madoff and Ruth. They just happened to steal from tax payers and customers over $250,000. This Jewish man like Bernard Madoff does not know what the 8th commandment is yet! "You shall not steal" Both have Phd degrees but no knowledge of GOD. Such a shame. Now they will have lots of time in jail to read the Tanakh and lean about God.

Is this the same couple who had been rescued a year or two ago? I cannot recall the details....but it was winter, snowy and they'd become lost and eventually were rescued. Pictures of the rescue were on Channel 10 news.

IF, and I repeat, IF, they gave treatment that worked, great. So could a lot of HONEST professionals that DON'T steal. This above the law garbage, has got to stop.
