You are right coolmind. We picked our own produce before illegals got here, we can do it again. Mexico is a very rich country, they just don't take care of anything. They have a reckless mindset, then EXPECT the US to do everything for them. Watch this video...they are dumping RAW SEWAGE into a river, and they expect us to do something about it. They are pigs! No wonder people are getting ill after they eat produce picked by illegals. They are spreading disease!!

This country is under attack from Mexico. It is a "peaceful" invasion exactly like the one that President Eisenhower put an end to in 1954 with "Operation Wetback" (seriously, that was actually its name):
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Wetbac...
We need a president with enough balls to do a similar thing. But instead, this invasion has occurred on George Bush's watch and because he has encouraged it.

We have two excellent choices for Presidential candidates for the next election: Duncan Hunter and Tom Tancredo. They want to eliminate illegal immigration completely. The bad part, is that they don't have enough money to campaign the way some of the other candidates do. Please do everything you can to get the word out about these two men. We need change in our country, and I am confident that they can move American in the right direction.

1 wall, from Texas to California. Made from concrete, 30 ft. high, 4 feet thick with razor wire wrapped around the top. With the construction crews we have in this country, this could be surveyed, formed, poured and completed in 3 months.

(of course the first thing that's needed is politicians with the kohones to do it-and considering what I see in D.C., it will never happen)

I love the fence, and some armed guards willing to do whatever was necessary would help too.

The American people have needs too. Guess we wont be heard until we march in the streets and take over city halls like they did here in Dallas. Those that came out with a different opinion were 'escorted' away by the police.

Marching is great, but voting is better, especially in the primaries. If we don't vote then, the anti-illegal candidates, Tom Tancredo and Duncan Hunter, will get weeded out early. Please tell all of your friends. You can also set up an account at NumbersUSA.com . This site allows you to send free faxes to your politicians regarding illegal immigration. It is so easy. It only takes a few minutes to set up, they send letters to your mailbox, and all you have to do is review the letter and hit "send". Please do what you can, our country depends on you. Thanks.

I think this is a great plan from Mexico. They play the sympathy card, and actually get Americans to help them take over our country. Clever, but those of us that are smart, realize what is going on. We will not allow anyone to take our country, and I hope Mr Calderon makes a note of it!!

Thank you for your insite. Yes I have gone to numbersUSA, someone in topix many months ago posted a link. I was and am impressed. I keep meaning to see if Tom Tancredo and Duncan Hunter have web sites. It is important that they are opposed to privatization of government, including the states. Perry is turning over our infrastructure to a foreign based corp with a local componet. Selling infrastructure to any private corp is dangerous. See what happened with Walter Reed and IAP (connected to Halliburton, KRB, Cerberus..) they pass off contracts (many failed to reach goals..$ kept by corp...contract not renewed then, passed over to the next ) like gang r___. Only its the taxpayer and those needing service like the FBI that gets the shaft. There will be no trade offs for us. They must be perfectly uncorrupt.

Hate to break another bubble but...

It's not just the jobs that American's don't want to do that are being taken over. I'm currently deployed with the Army to Kabul, Afghanistan but before that I was working back in my home town of Omaha, Nebraska. I was working at a company installing communcations equipment and running copper/fiber for new installs. We'd pull and terminate the lines for new buildings going up in the city and surrounding areas.

Not that bad a job, then a few of the 'Undocumented Workers' were being hired. Didn't really know a lot, we'd have to redo a lot of the work and wonder of wonders, they worked cheaper than we would. Instead of paying out 15+ dollars a hour, all the company had to do was shell out about 6-8 without all the bennies.

So before folks thing that it's just picking stuff from the dirt, we're losing a lot more to our newest friends...

James

James thank you for your post. Thank you for serving this country. It is amazing how this government seems intent on its destruction. Recently I have found through the usda, rural development-homes for "migrant farm workers" programs on going throught the nation. Apts are being built 88 unit for $2.5 million of our tax dollars for these 'workers'. The usda web site has photos, they are for the most part new and lovely. Much nicer than I could afford as we were getting started many years ago. The nations Homeland Security (vast funds) has done NOTHING outstanding since its inception. Failed with Katrina. Does not protect the borders.

Meanwhile $500 is proposed( and is, in fact a 'inovative pilot program') for each child born in America. Parents country of origion not a factor. In Dallas, Parkland hospital reports 75% of the births are by the "undocumented/illegals ".

I hope there are good attorneys out there that will conduct agressive lawsuits in behalf of our service people who have had their jobs taken while in service to our country. Additonally, to launch an agressive campaign on behalf of legal citizens to demand our jobs back, these expensive apartments and homes paid for with our tax dollars be turned over to our military families when they return home!

The very idea that illegals/non citizens have such places built for them when so many military families are in need of decent housing is an affront! FYI all apts seem to say, 2 and 3 bedroom apts, I have yet to see a post for a one bedroom unit. Please keep us posted, James on how you are.

Robert Rector of the Heritage Foundation has just finished a study that makes the White House plan for big increases in low-skill labor sound like a plot to bankrupt America.

The study looked at households headed by high-school drop-outs.
It found high school drop-outs accounted for about:

9% of native-born Americans
25% of legal immigrants
50% of illegal aliens

The new Bush/Republican Senator plan would dramatically increase the number of legal immigrant drop-outs and make sure that millions of illegal drop-outs stayed in our country.
The cost to Americans will be staggering.
Rector found that the share of federal, state and local costs for each of these high-school-dropout households is around $43,000 a year.
But he subtracted out their share of defense and interest on debt, concluding that:

THE INCREMENTAL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL EXPENDITURES FOR EACH HOUSEHOLD HEADED BY A HIGH-SCHOOL DROPOUT IS AROUND
$32,000 a year in government support
The Heritage Foundation scholar then painstakingly dug through government data to find every kind of tax that these households pay. He even included money spent on lottery tickets ($686 per year) and excise taxes, as well as FICA and property taxes and many others.
He said he was a bit surprised to find that these high-school-dropout households pay more taxes than he expected:
Nearly $10,000 a year in taxes
Nonetheless, the bottom line is that these households require:$22,000 each year
in net taxpayer subsidies
Why would our elected officials want to import foreign workers who require such huge infusions of taxpayer cash?
And why would they be proposing increasing that flow?

Even more astounding is that they want to force American taxpayers to continue to subsidize those who have come here illegally or broken our laws to stay.

Why would the Senate and House Democratic leadership -- and now the White House and most Senate Republicans -- want to keep these lawbreakers -- every one of whose households will cost Americans an average net of $22,000 a year?
Rector's study indicates that these total households headed by foreign-born high school drop-outs are costing taxpayers a net of around:
$100 BILLION a year
Yet, the new White House/Republican Senator immigration plan would ensure that all the illegal aliens getting that subsidy would remain to keep collecting ...... and that we would add large numbers of new households every year so that the total subsidy could grow much higher.
This Heritage Foundation Study makes it devastatingly clear that our current immigration policies amount to
BIGGEST UNFUNDED MANDATE ON LOCAL AND STATE GOVERNMENTS

Now, President Bush and apparently the majority of Republican Senators want to radically increase immigration's costs for local and state governments (and their taxpayers)!
