Bush to Meet With New Mexican President

Mexican President Felipe Calderon has a tough message for President Bush: The United States must do more -- "much more" -- to solve thorny issues of drug-trafficking and immigration.

By referencing the Berlin Wall, Calderon is admitting that Mexico is a crap hole just like the Soviet Union.

Having Mexico's corrupt military clamp down only ensures that the exodus will rise to a fever pitch.

Mexico is a crap hole because of it's penchant for nationalizing industry. Selling off PEMEX would be a good start. Use the revunue to lower taxes.

On the flip side, one area of government oversight desperately needed is Mexico's banking system. It's rife with corruption and functions mostly as a laudromat for narcodollars.

Unlike the Berlin Wall, Mexico isn't building it to keep her people from fleeing. America is building it to slow down the visigoth invasion.

For her part, America needs to stop playing at empire and get back to her republican roots.

I just love this. We're being invaded by Latinos particularly Mexican and of course,'tis our fault. Moreover, Gonzales our attorney general is one of the invaders by ethnicity. He sided with a drug dealer one of our border patrol boys butt- shot. Our boys are in prison getting beat up by wait, let me phrase it right, Mexican illegals we have relaxing in our prisons for crimes on American soil. Gonzales supports that. Really, there's not one person in the Bush administration that works for Americans. Bush and his crew work for themselves and multiple other agencies but the American people. My daughter who will be 20yrs old sent this to me, i hae enough with the illegal immigrant stuff! pres Bush wna s us to conserve on gas--please---- the best way to conserve on gase is to deport 11 million illegal immigrants! That would be 11 million less people using our gas. The price of gas would come down(Makes sense) Bring our troops home form Iraq to guard OUR borders. When they catch an illegal immagrant crossing the border, hand him a canteen, rifle and some ammo and ship them off to Iraq. Tell him if he wants to become an American citizen legally the he must serve a tour in the milatary. Give him a soldiers pay(which would seem like a kings ransom to them) while he's there and tax him on it. After his tour, he will be allowed to become an American citizen since he defended the country. He will also be registered to be taxed and be a legal patriot. This option will probably deter illegal immigration and provide a solution for the troops in Iraq and th aliens trying to make a better life for themselves.---Work for it --our ancestors did. Better yet if they refuse send them to Iraq anyway, without the canteen, rifle or ammo--Problem solved. Bring our boys back home(although I believe that if it wasn't over there it would be here, after I had a conversation with a 21 yr old who had served over there)--let them blow themselves up. Or we could just kill most of them off and put the rest of them on "reservations" like we did the native Americans. That will teach them to use "our gas"? What is it that we are still free of? If, for some bargain, the US would cede Texas to Mexico, Texas' constitution would revert back to the Republic of Texas. And Mexico, still nursing her wounds from the last tustle with we Texans, would quite certainly negotiate a settlement. 20,000 lbs of gold and 50,000 square miles of additional gulf coast property might be agreeable.

I agree. The U.S. stole Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah and parts of Colorado and Wyoming. All this used to be Mexico.

Mexicans are among the politest and nicest people in the world.

PEMEX has been nationalized for many years. The nationalization of industry in Mexico is not what is causing all the immigrants to come here from Mexico. Most of the people who come here are poor, unskilled laborers that are unable to find jobs in Mexico to support their families. That is why they come here. They also accept jobs that no American wants to do.

There is a poultry processing plant in Huntingburg, Indiana and in Robards, KY. Most of the people who work there are Hispanics because Americans refuse to do this type of work because they feel that it is degrading. Also, it is very hard and dangerous work. Also, most Americans do not want to frame windows or do roofing jobs. That is why these companies hire immigrants to do the jobs. If they cannot find people to work for them, what are they supposed to do?

Why not just give the ENTIRE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA back to the what left of the Nations which was here prior to 1500 century.

The land was taken from them by killing nearly all of them!!!

All Americans except what left of these Nations can set the example by contacting the Choctaws or some other of the Nations.

Give them the deed to any and all land owned and pay as much back rent owed for their family using the land, damages, and for their suffering for their the last about 400/500 years.

Whatever money or valuables people have can be used for this purpose---except for cheap tickets to Europe, China, or etc.

We are a nation where most addicts make 30 times as much money every week as the average Mexican. It as simple as supply and demand. Bush's Harvard education should have taught him that. Before you complain about Mexican drug production, you should stop using their product. Most Mexicans who have come here "illegally" are not breaking our drug laws.
