Mexican beach seizures yields 5 tons of marijuana

Mexico's Army says five metric tons of marijuana have been seized near the U.S. border in Puerto Penasco, a beach city popular with visitors from Arizona.

This article is a mess. Puerto Penasco is 60 miles from the U.S. Border. So exactly where was this pot seized? If it actually was "near the U.S. border," that's significant because the pot could have arrived there from a variety of sources other than Puierto Penasco. And the pot seized "a mile from Puerto Penasco..." a mile in which direction?
Puerto Penasco, or "Rocky Point," is generally safe for tourists as long as they don't do anything stupid.
