The drought and famine in Somalia have killed more than 29,000 children under the age of 5 in the last 90 days in southern Somalia alone, according to U.S. estimates. The U.N. says 640,000 Somali children are acutely malnourished, suggesting the death toll of small children will rise.

The world is going to suffer because of high rates of births. Anther problem is because of poor education throughout the world. The poorest, most uneducated people have the most children. That is not going to work. You cannot save the world. People are their own worst enemy.

Considering Mexico has a birth rate that exceeds 19% perhaps you should be spreading your word around down there instead of on an internet forum.

Tell the mothers to keep their knees together. It's worked for years. If you can't feed them, don't breed 'em.

I am an American, and yes I do talk about it. I am also a white American. I was just trying to say that this problem is everywhere if you can read between the lines. Hard to feel sorry for the worlds problems, when they have made their own beds. But it is also very sad.

Sadly, but it is coming to America. People are starving thre too. The government is trying to help the world at the plight of Americans. Look at the economy and the loss of jobs. Get the soldiers back and quit spending the money in other countries and invest it in America. Stop the government from spending money on frivilous non productives projects. Make people work for their welfare checks. Quit shipping out jobs to countries that pay very low wages and still keep the people in poverty. They will never get ahead as they are enslaved. Americans need better paying jobs and should be willing to pay a little more money for products made in America. If the jobs are all shipped out to India at $2 a day in wages. Where will we work for a decent living as we watch these jobs dissapear. Americans and their wages are what made America. Taking those better paying wages away from America will hurt the world, because the buying of power of America that fuels the economy, and buys the cars is dwindling away slowly but surely. Americans want to buy cheap and Americans are their worst enemy. Every American should ban companies and the manufacturing of their products that are farmed out to other countries. America is slowly turning into a third world country. I am approaching 60 years old and I have seen the changes and they are obvious. Spend your vacation dollars for now in America, and your money om American made products. I still buy all my food and furniture and just about every thing in El Paso when I travel there. I buy nothing I sell that is made in Mexico. But I sell it all in America. I employ no one in Mexico either.

Gee, cry me a river. The poor fellow. I guess he should have stayed on his side of the fence and not entered the USA ILLEGALLY!!!!!!. The government should round up every fence jumper in America, pack them into rail cars and ship them back to Mexico. They are not welcome here.
