There is a very simple solution to this problem-DON"T GO TO THE EVENT! "THESE" people will be fine without your support. I'm SURE the event will survive without your presence as the world does NOT revolve around you! BUT...I'm sure that the rest of the people that do attend will have a wonderful time enjoying good music, entertainment, food and company of friends. DON'T start trying to divide the Deming community as TOO few events take place in the community to begin with pathetic racist comments. THANK YOU! anyone can see that your arrogance exceeds your intelligance ,mr man light . over and out

<quoted text>There are a lot of protocols that are not followed anymore like there use to be. Someone like the Chamber of Commerce should put out a list of rules and protocol for parades since they are in charge of putting on the parades in Deming. Maybe its out of ignorance or no one letting the participants know, but traditions and protocols need to be taught.
Protocol? Is this not the same Chamber of Commerce who elected Espinoza citizen of the year a year or so ago?
Perhaps the Headlight could print a story on the flag and the proper use of it.

Cool. Anyway, I'll be there for the reasons you listed in the other 95% of your post. This is the holiday where they dye the river green, isn't it? I'm polishing up the dancing-shoes and growing out the sideburns.

Weather permitting this just might also be a good pre Mothers Day celebration with all those mariachi bands going to play. Sounds like a lot of good entertainment lined up.
