I wonder if this guy (David Hartley) was really gunned down by members of some cartel or a gang or if this was an excellent story created by his wife, who may have killed him, to get rid of him and collect life insurance money? After all she too was on the jet ski and would have had an excellent opportunity to have shot him in the head.

Someone screwed up in this story. There are no 10 foot bass in the world, much less in Falcon.

I hope additional precautions are being taken, like more man power on US side? more surveilance 24/7.

Steve McGraw Made it clear in his press conference, the Texas DPS response will be appropriate.

In the recent cross border shootings, rangers, Texas game wardens a token border patrol unit fired 300 rounds and can confirm three hits. Those on the south side ran as expected. Maybe the chopper helped.....

Similar teams stand ready in the county, unseen and deployed.

Not that I want to give anyone any bright idea, but what is to keep the cartels from using small submarine type equipment to transfer their drugs? Using even high speed boats will cause intervention but underwater transfer wouldn't be so easily detected-I would think, who knows they are probably already doing this, with all the sophisticated weapons they have--I'm sure they've thought of this too. So I would hope our BP, and other officials are watching for movement under water.
