They aren't but you couldn't tell that by former Governor Bill Richardson's actions.
And, because Eric Holder runs the Justice Department for his buddy Obama who told illegal alien college students that he's going to do everything he can to keep them from being deported and to make them citizens?
And, the more welcoming Utah makes it for illegal aliens, the better the chances of making more mormons.

The mormon and catholic churches along with the democratic party seem bound and determined to fill their ranks with ignorant people to increase their wealth and political power. It seems all three prefer to have a few elitists in control over their uneducated masses. That plan did not work out well for the U.S.S.R. We can only hope it does not work for them either.

The border has never been secure. Ever. 1000 agents would make a small difference, but it sure would not be enough to stop people from crossing, regardless of how "strong" the "leader" was. Other countries have similar problems, although different circumstances.
If each BP agent is responsible for stopping only 100 people a year, less than 2 a week an additional 1000 agents would reduce the number of illegal crossings by 100,000 or about one fifth. In addition the presents of more officers would be a deterrent. Every year for the last few years according to the government the BP has increased in man power and the number of illegal entries has decreased. If a real border fence is ever actually built the number would decrease even more as it has in areas been the fence has been built or strengthened. I like most Americans do not buy the line that it is impossible to secure the border or to deport those that are already here so we should just give up and let lawlessness rule. Since there has been no real attempt to increase border security or increase the number of illegal aliens deported how can anybody conclude that it cannot be done? Man tried to fly for thousands of years and many said it was impossible but guess what, like you they were wrong.

Mexicans are catholics, they aren't ever going to be mormons, so any elected mormon Utah state official who thinks this is going to be a boon to the mormons is delusional.

The catholic church isn't going to start cutting loose of any baby-making Mexican catholics and let them become "pagan" mormons any time soon. And lose the tithe to the pagan mormons? Don't think so.

Catholic view on mormons: "...as with many other Mormon beliefs, their teachings on Christ are a maze of misunderstanding, misdefinition, and misapplication. Mormon scriptures are contradictory, and Mormon prophets deny, redefine, or ignore one another's teachings."

Catholic answers: Problems with the book of mormon....

The mormon church better watch out, you open the doors to Mexican/catholic baby making machines, and Utah mormons will be outnumbered by catholics in less than a decade.

Your screen name is MISLEADING as you post bias misinformation about a group of people you've demonstrated a level of hatred for in 100% of all your commentary on Topix!

Also, not all Mexicans are Catholic. Theirs a Jehovah Witness hall by my home and some other christian churches in my area that have many many many Mexicans.

All you do is disseminate your bigotry & hate toward a group of people you dislike.

You're no different then a person who hates all whites becuase they hold 1st place for being sexual predators.

Please change your screen name to "Don't Know the Facts".

Do you think that BP agents can continue this embarrassing practice of only stopping 100 illegals a year now that Tea Party Republicans cut funding for border security by 43%?

I would have thought that after Republicans scaring the hell out of Americans on the illegal immigration fear factor during the November 2010 elections that they would have increased spending or reallocated funding and put their campaign promises to work.

The famous conspiracy theory is that Democrats want illegals to come to America to get amnesty & citizenship so they can have a larger voter base but why are Tea Party Republicans allowing the borders to remain open now and further complimenting this conspiracy?

Please explain how 5 Tea Party Senate members out of 100 and 40 Tea Party house members out of 435 managed to managed to cut the BP funding. Keep in mind that I am not a Tea Party member or a Republican but I do know that both houses of congress require a majority to pass any legislation.

What is the president supposed to do, come down to Utah and vote in place of all the dumbaszes in the legislature?

I don't know about this. This law is not active. I expect when it is the government will come down hard.
Didn't Utah refuse to become a state and the federal government had to send troops there to kick ****?
No.
Please, history is easy to learn these days, yet you prefer to wave your ignorance like a flag. Furl it.

Here we go with the racist charge again. Can't you illegals think of another word? ICE needs to raid Syracuse. Seems like that city is infested with you guys.

Ah, the idiot returns. Anyone who doesn't hate your chosen scapegoat is an "illegal". Guess what doofus, there are "legals" who disagree with you. Now, you probably don't believe that, but that's just because you are stupid. Stupid believe believe stupid things.
Who hires "illegals", stupid person ? Who pays them to be here?
The answer is: stupid people like you. Stupid white people. Stupid republican people. Stupid teabaggers that live off the government dime.
