What's the point in driving a Chevy Suburban with U.S. diplomatic plates? There's nothing undercover about that.
It would make more sense to use rental cars--even armored ones--than this. Who's going after the moles in ICE?
Well here goes....hopefully a few in here who care about facts over reasons to hate Mexicans will read this.

The loss of servicemen is a travesty but those who serve do so understanding the risk. Sadly we have one more hero today. A few obvious comments.
They were in an armored car with diplomatic plates and no guns (because of course guns are useless here against cartels with the full arsenal of fully automatic weapons). They had the weapons they needed....a blindado that would stop all of those bullets and the american flag on their car. These thugs were so low level it is ridiculous. The real cartels would never never never have gone near them. My guess is that they are already dead at the hands of their cartel leaders for their stupidity.
So if you think that no one in the service of your country is smart enough to have considered the fact they were completely visible.....you really could not have thought far. You are safer here being visible rather than undercover. That same truck, with no plates and two guys of that age in it would be MUCH MUCH MUCH more dangerous because they would look like a cartel car.
O Janet, of course the US has to be careful with statements, their statements are not for your benefit they have to consider the protection of their interests abroad, namely our men and women who work in the best interest of the US in this country, in any and all agencies that are working in Mexico and in fact most of the countries in the world. Kid yourself not, retaliation will come and come quietly but a public word war could endanger the lives of millions of Americans who live here.
What I struggle with is that if no one was here you would complain we need people here, when there are people here you complain we shouldn't be involved.
I am glad you are concerned for your country and that some are concerned for the safety of those who represent your interests abroad. This agent was killed by violent gangs of ruthless criminals .... not by Mexicans.
Bombing Mexico is ridiculous, leaving Mexico is inadvisable. Working to find a solution here is the answer. Supporting Mexican interests is supporting our own interests...plain and simple. If you ostrich you will be shot in the ass in no time. And those wounds can be fatal too.
If you want to have a good rage on a topic try this one. I am a republican and I support my rights to arm myself. I can almost guarantee you that the murder weapon was initially bought in the USA. Americans who sell guns, like AK47's and AR15's to people they KNOW (don't kid a kidder) will resell it to people who will likely take it out of the US, threaten all our rights and liberties and have the blood of innocent people...innocent Americans on their hands. they are traitors to our country and should be prosecuted under federal law and if found guilty executed for treason.

Time for the NRA to shut up, I for one am tired at looking back at weapons traitors in my country have sold our enemies.

fonews.com is reporting u.s. house of representative mccaul is saying the ice agents were ambushed by the zetas. there were 10 to 15 men in two vehicles, they found 90 shell casings.
this is outrageous that mexico cannot handle the trash that work for drug cartels. the zetas are proud of their work? i may not live around the border, i know who they are, they should have been stopped years ago. no gang can survive this. fear is the only weapon they have. i am not afraid of them.

Since Mexico will NOT allow US agents to be armed, then take them all out and send them to the U.S. border. At the same time suspend ALL foreign Aid until the killers are captured..........money talks, B.S. walks

Very brave of you from where you are. If you lived here you would be afraid and if you were not you would be stupid or more than likely dead.
These are the stupidest but most ruthless people you can imagine. People fear them with good reason, they changed all the rules and they are doing it again by attacking americans this week. The cartels, Mxn and American gov't would serve their interests best if the joined forces to destroy them.

That's right, the best thing that Mexico and the U.S. can do now is to join forces and try to end here with these monsters, because if the U.S. left alone to Mexico in this war, soon the violence gonna cross to the USA ...

The same could be said of 9/11 with #43 who waited a
month or more to give the public some of the findings.
You don't jump the gun in such situations. Now while
I was not a fan of #43's policies did understand the
the process. Nobody is turning their back. There is
much behind the scenes which happens that isn't told.

I SAY, STOP ALL AID immediately and line the borders with military. AND make OBAMA RESIGN. We need someone that is respected and feared in office

Who cares! Apparently ICE and negrobrama new about their mission so what is the problem? They had a job to do and one of them payed with their lives. That is why we pay them what we pay them. It's about time that an agency started taking proactive measures!!!!

WE NEED TO FIGHT FIRE WITH FIRE AND GIVE IT TO THEM WITH ALL WE HAVE. No ands, buts, or ifs. AND STOP ALL AID. It's not working, lets do the US WAY. The Obama way ISN'T WORKING!!!. We don't need Mexico or it's oil. We don't need all the immigrants to come work here. We can open up a program in the school districts that would use students to do the work (fruit, vegetable picking) and pay the students for their valuable work. They would learn responsibility and they would be doing something for their city and state. Hours worked would count as work on their resume and be paid by farmers or ranchers who are interested in the school program. It would be a start for US to try replace the Illegals with our own students or ordinary people who don't have jobs and STILL GET PAID. BETTER THAN DOING NOTHING to help alliviate the numbers of illegals being hired. Then go after the companies with heavty fines if they continue to hire illegals. Those other jobs like construction jobs would also be replaced with older students needing cash for schools, any job could be replaced with someone WHO WANTS TO WORK AND NEEDS THE MONEY AND WHO DOESN'T? The pay would naturally be (training pay) as many or I should say NONE of us know how to correctly pick fruits or many young men & women know nothing of construction work but could be trained and what better than to offer your own people and kids a chance to replace illegals doing the jobs? It would probably discourage maney of them from entering the US. Nothing is impossible but WE HAVE TO WORK TOGETHER TO KEEP OUR CITIES AND STATES free from the impact of such invasions. We as citizens will be doing this with the best intentions FOR OUR COUNTRY. Since POLITICIANS and the PRESIDENT DON'T CARE, we have to save ourselves from this economic disaster created by the hordes illegals who while here working illegally expect housing, food stamps, medical attention and free babies.

I would still like to know why we had agents down in Mexico to start with. I think whoever sent them should be investigated and asked why he slated the people he did to be the targets. Who's next?

This act could possibly be a cry for help from run down and tired cartel members that would love for their business to reach normal income levels as I am sure its affected negatevely due to the caos. Possibly.

You are either sick or 14 years old. You trivialize the life of an agent killed in the line of duty, while presenting his American credentials and can turn that into a racist comment related to a black president. You self entitled child. I hope some day when your sorry but is needing help, karma plays a role.

Google a little my friend and you will understand why we have agents in almost every country in the world. You wouldn't be able to live the sheltered life you have if we didn't.

Seriously, do any of your read or think....or just like to get angry at headlines.

In case you have forgotten, illegals are employed by Americans under the table and we are the biggest users of drugs in the world. If your elected officials want to fix either of those they need to kill demand AND work at the source of the problem we helped to create.
