Hell yeah i ignore and carry on! I stand my ground. So you want all 11 million illegals out from the United States? Well good luck with that. Who is going to work in the rock places or pick up trash or pick the fruit or plant your christmas trees.... Hispanics do so much of the work that most don't want to do. And guess what? That man who wrecked who did not have a license was denied a license like so many illegals are denied their stupid licenses. Just cause they don't have a green card. They could pass the driver's test. They can do so many things if given the chance. i do feel sorry for Americans that suffer because of the illegals. I sympathize with them because i'm affected sometimes as well. Just look at sports teams for example. Not proffesional ones of course. Illegals can't play proffesionally... At least not in America. In the high schools the best sprinter, jumpers, soccer players... Hispanic youth that came here at a young age that are illegal. Must thye be punished as well because their parents brought them here. I don't think so. But then again many close minded people don't care, thinking that they are all the same sludge and trash. We hear about the trouble that illegals make, not just them but all hispanics. what about the accomplishments? Illegal or legal, hispanics make a diffrence and we need to hear about the good things more often. Everyone probably wants to shoot me now but i've been debating this issue since seventh grade. I've done research, i know my statistics. Eveyone has their own opinion. but people need to pay attention more and try to be a little more tolerable. If illegals come from their countries to be here its because life is bad for them there. My mom came here from Guatemala just barely escaping death. if she stayed there, she would have died at twenty. that country has been in a civil war for over thirty years. That country is no bigger that the size of Maine! Imagine what other problem exist in the Latin countries for these people to come here in search for a better life style.
The reason "Americans won't do the job" is because the wages in the industry's you list have been stagnant or are decreasing because the ILLEGALS will do the jobs for less than what Americans were being paid.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that if you are paying someone $10 an hour and along comes someone who will do the job for $5 an hour, that you would hire the worker who will work for less ... then, that person tells a friend, and so on, and before you know it there are no longer an Americans doing the job.

Just wait dear Bonnie, the day is coming when you may be replaced by one of these "Christian" immigrants.

I hope you have a retirement plan!

I work in the technology sector and the facility uses a temporary agency to fill manufacturing positions. Almost all of these workers are Hispanic. Occasionally rumors swirl that ICE is coming to the facility and guess what, on those days the number of temporary workers that show up is greatly reduced.
When I asked a Human Resources rep about the legality of these workers, I was told that they work for the temp agency and it is up to that agency to police the authenticity of the workers.
Basically saying that we know they are illegal but it is not our problem.
LoKel, that is exactly how it is done..That is why these Temp agencies are doing so well, as well as what they call 'subcontracting' or 'farming out' jobs. It is not that they don't have potential employees, it is cheaper for the company who outsources these jobs---way cheaper---no ins., no taxes, no nothing....Most of the illegals that are in factories are there by Temp agencies--not the company.

True, but I think both the temp agency and the company SHOULD be held accountable for having illegal aliens on their payroll. The temp agency hires the illegals to start with, pay them almost nothing, and then the company turns around and pays the temp company. I think the employee,(the illegal), the temp agency, and the company should all 3 be brought to justice. The first by deportation, the second by complete loss of their business, and the third by heavy fines and after the first offense, the company loses their business, as well. Human Resource people and company decision makers who simply wont do their jobs deserve whatever they get.

I come from a family of real estate agents, doctors and lawyers. Of course i have A retirement plan. NOT. I'm not even of legal age to work yet. So all I have is school and volunteer hours to fill. i protect these illegals cause I feel sorry for them and because some of my family used to be illegal. an illegal can never replace me. you know why? because my daddy dear will do all he can to pay for me to go to a great university and law school. With my GPA and parents income, I'm unstoppable in what I can legally do because I was born here. I'm only waiting for immagratory reform so I can finally jump for joy and rub it into peoples faces who thought it would never be possible.I know what the law is. I'm very libertarian and fairly republican. I have worked in a law office before. I've taken debate. I know right from wrong. But I really think people should be free to live and migrate wherever. i know that would never be possible but America is the melting pot. they will come in more. And there will be more hispanics because they populate faster than caucasions do. get used to seeing hispanics. I'm proud of my race. I'm ashamed to say that I was ever ashamed to be hispanic but its true. All the racism made me want to hide in a cave and I ask my parents why they didnt have me in their country. Not anymore. I'm sick of being ashamed and I'm out of my cave.

Such idealism! Such logic! Such grammar! Another unsolicited testimonial to the effectiveness of the public education system! Doubtless another future national "leader", all primed and ready for Berkley!

Sounds like an anchor baby to me. And those need to be dealt with, as well. Of course they feel they should be able to migrate wherever. And she admits to working in a law office already and she isnt even legal working age, as of yet. Wow!!

There is a big difference between filing papers and the law, dear girlie, but good luck to you!!

I believe Bonnie said somewhere in all her rantings that these 4 men worked for another illegal who had a contstruction company. There will be NO help there...
I was talking with a man who does dry wall and has for years. He bid on a job, but was underbid by half by a Hispanic crew. They can do this because they will work for less---always cash---thus no SS, taxes are being paid. If one of them gets hurt, they go to the free clinics and tell some tale---thus keeping OSHA at bay and saving the employeer himself alot of money and grief. So this is another reason to send these things back to where they came from--they are taking Americans job, not paying income taxes, no driver's license, no insurance, free health care, free pre-natal care, help with food---they are ROBBING the American people blind and some people just cannot see it!! They are driving nice cars because they can afford it. Hell, I could too if I sponged off the system. A damn bunch of theives--SEND THEM AWAY before they kill the American way of life and take more American lives.
My husband is a general contractor and we have been underbid many times by illegal work forces. We simply refuse to hire illegals or use subcontractors that hire illegals. We pay more but we get what we pay for. I personally would not buy or live in a house contructed by illegals. They do not know what "code" is and take no pride in a doing a job right.

I cannot remember the exact numbers but Hispanics are not the only folks coming across the southern border. Iranians, Syrians, Saudis, and Chinese are just a few of the nationalities caught trying to sneak into this country using the southern border. Securing the border and deporting ALL illegals, regardless of where they come from, should be our top priorities.

So why doesn't the people living in their home countries take a stand against their government instead of coming to America and protesting. Number one reason they know they will be shot if they take a stand. We don't need all these illegal people coming into our country, we have enough on welfare now, there are emergency rooms closing their doors because there are so many illegal Mexicans coming for health issues. They go because they know they can be treated free and us stupid Americans will pay the bill. Send them back to Mexico.

So who cares where you came from and what your daddy dear does for you, if you are illegal then go back to your country and stay away from America.

Yeah, they would 'mow' these protestors down in Mexico. So they come here thinking they have equal rights as an American--B.S.

Depot them to the furtherest SOUTHERN BORDER of their place of origin.

okay. Who all is sick of this racism? Not many I bet. I knew these men, they were good Christian men. And yes illegal immigration is a problem but i know that immigration reform is on its way. C-SPAN. watch it sometime! And you know what, all these hispanics come from native american descent. Along came the Europeans and try to kill them and take over and what not...
I know that these men were illegal but so are many others. At the funeral however, hundreds showed up. This proves that us Hispanics have STRENGTH IN NUMBERS! God only knows what these peole go through trying to get here to the land of the free in search for a better life. I thank God everyday that my family is legal and that some day i'll be a senator or something like that. Many think that is wishful thinking. Not me. I really want to make a diffrence for hispanics in America. These comments are rude and offensive. what if the Native Americans made the white people leave when they came without permission? Why can't everyone tolerate one another? We were created EQUAL by God and we are brothers and sisters in CHRIST.
I believe the Christ you speak of said something along the lines of render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's and render unto God that which is God. I think I can make a fine arguement that He was saying obey the LAW!
