Why was this woman not given a blood test immediately following the accident? The police fouled up. She should be charged with homicide.

6 years??? that is a joke. If you want to do a crime do it here in NM where you get a slap on the wrist. This states judicial system is a complete failure, might as well give Astorga probation.

Just because she is female, she will probably get away with this horrible crime. Our laws are no good here in New Mexico!!

Santa Fe District Attorney Henry Valdez should step down from office; he’s as crooked as they come. He favors the criminal over victims. The woman kills 3 people and gets off easy. Another example is the lost of the entire Gonzales family from Las Vegas, New Mexico. According to Valdez if Dana Papst would have lived the case against him would have been difficult to convict because of loopholes in protocol. I thought it was up to the Distinct Attorney’s office eliminate those loopholes! He has done injustice to a series of cases in the past! He another Bush!

It seems Mr. Valdez has determined that a life is worth 2 years in his District. Maybe its time to rid ourselves of this District Attorney -- Think?
