tinsnip13 wrote: LIGER GRANDE BURRO MAGNUM"] You don't sound too American. You sound more like you need to prove that you are American. I think you are something else & very insrecure. There is nothing wrong with beuing Irish American & celebrating St. Patty's, or Italian American & celebrating Italian feasts like St Genaro's etc, or being Cuban American and keeping your traditions. By the way befor Jamestown had been settled, the Cubans had already settled in Florida. Read your history. The Spaniards were the ones that discovered America. Queen Isabel financed La Nina, La Pinta & La st. Maria & paid Clumbus for his efforts. The first settlements in America were by the Spaniards, so complejitos, accept it, & accept the fact that Spanish is here to stay. Some day, soon, it will be the language that is spoken everywhere. Little by little it'll take over. My advice, if you are wise learn it & join the winners. Otherwise.....you'll be a loser Otherwise.....you'll be a loser. LOL QUE BURRO, WHERE DID YOU LEARN YOUR HISTORY? Never have I read such a rambling inept post as this one. The Cubans never settled Florida it was the Spaniards who did explore it. The Irish, Vikings and the Chinese all visited America long before that Italian, Columbus ventured forth. Your knowledge on history only supersedes your knowledge on present day Cuba. Burro, stay with the chickens dude keep away from current affairs and above all history. Que classe Indio Burro! Keep taking your meds! TROLL ALERT! TROLL ALERT! TROLL ALERT!

How rude of you to down grade a person for loving their heritage. Whether you are treated bad or being abused by your government, "love for one's country is a spendid thing". To feel pride for who you are is real and who the f**k are you to stomp on someone else's beliefs or dreams. Julie wrote: And why are people dying on boats and getting eaten alive by sharks to leave Cuba and come here?? Funny you hold so much sentiment for the country that kept you in poverty, persecuted you, and that is so bad people are lauching out to sea on broken down boats and getting eaten alive by sharks to come here. The USA is the country that allows you to SUPPOSEDLY pay more taxes (and obviously make more money) in a month than I do in a year (can you give me a loan?? I pay good interest!!) since you know so much answer these questions?? You are nothing but an ingrate.

WE JUST DONT CARE wrote: <quoted text> Are you calling us Cubans garbage? That is weird !We Cubans have beaten your born losers asse* in almost every field of society! US Census Bureau. Facts about Cuban American: Cuban Americans have acquired an enormous amount of wealth and prosperity in an extremely short period of time; no other immigrant group has achieved this as quickly as the Cubans. Many immigrants have never achieved it at all, despite being in this country far longer than Cubans. Second-generation Cuban-Americans were more educated than even Anglo-Americans. More than 26.1% of second-generation Cuban-Americans had a bachelor's degree or better versus 20.6% of Anglos. Thus Cuban-Americans in 1997 were approximately 25% more likely to have a college degree than Anglos. Other Hispanic groups lag far behind. Only 18.1% of South Americans had a bachelor's or better. Puerto Ricans, despite being U.S. citizens by birth, recorded a disappointing 11%; Mexicans only 7%. In 1997, 55.1% of second-generation Cuban-Americans had an income greater than $30,000 versus 44.1% of Anglo- Americans. Thus Cuban-Americans are approximately 20% more likely to earn more than $30,000 than their Anglo-American counterparts. All other Hispanic groups lag far behind in average income. In 1997, 36.9% of second-generation Cuban-Americans had an income greater than $50,000 versus 18.1% of Anglo- Americans. Cuban-Americans were twice as likely to earn more than $50,000. Also, approximately 11% of Cuban-Americans had incomes greater than $100,000 versus 9% of Anglo-Americans, and less than 2% of other Hispanics. Cubans comprise less than 4% of the U.S. Hispanic population, Mexicans 65%, Puerto Ricans 10%, Central and South Americans 11%, and "others" 10%. Yet of the top 100 richest Hispanics in the U.S., more than 50% are of Cuban descent (ten times what it should be on a population basis), and 38% of Mexican descent. The rest is scattered among all other Hispanic groups. Source: U.S. Census Bureau Hey I have worked with the Census Bureau in the past and I know that their info is as good as you can make 90% of the people believe anything 50% of the time .
