Since there is no police there, if I run a red light in the middle of town, no one can stop me.

Common language? The USA has no official language ( http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/616... ). When we separated from the British, the colonist looked for a new language because they hated the British so much. German, Hebrew, and even a made up language were considered. But English stuck because that is what majority spoke in that part of North America. If the Spanish Armada had defeated the Brits way back when, we all would be speaking Spanish anyway. The United States has no official language.

I will translate, he said something like "fuck off and don't let the door hit your ass on the way out" and this really is the way the middle class and above in mexico feel about the illegal immigrants into the US, who are none other but the poorest 1/4 of mexico. Bleeding off poverty elsewhere helps mexico, or at least that's what they think.

It is worth repeating, the outrageous violence and offical lawlessness triggered by the drug war will end with repeal just as these policy created problems disappeared with repeal of alcohol prohibition.

We, the people want a better drug policy about saving or rehabilitating lives instead of ruining them. Regulation, science based education and treating abusers as patients not criminals or harm reduction is a better
drug policy that increases public safety.
