The Consumer Memo, 02/21: Mexico spring break tourism falls
Foreign tourism may fall as much as 88 percent in Acapulco this year as spring breakers cancel trips because of reports of violence, the Mexico City newspaper El Universal reported.

Acapulco is just like any other city in the world, If you go into the bad neighberhoods you will find trouble. Evererything that is happening is in the outskirts of the tourist area. I was there in January and had the best time.

Glad to hear that and I agree, I am a March person and the folks that I am hearing from that are there now feel just as safe as they always have.
