They haven't good investigators and just arrest anyone off the street and charge them whether guilty or not.

I feel the media misleads the world with all of the drug lords and murders here, America has just as many if not more.
The officials need to be more in touch with the people.

I live here in Chihuahua also. I love the people here. Lots of great people! But I think through personal experience that it is under reported here in Mexico. Everything gets recorded and goes on record in the USA. All deaths. Not so in Mexico. I have seen the violence. People hanging from overpasses on Ave de la Juventud. Two assassinations. So many police that it is unbelievable. I can drive in the USA and not see a police car for sometimes an hour. Here it is one every 2 minutes it seems like. Look at houses in the USA. Most areas have no bars on the windows, tall walls with broken glass or razor wire. You know what I am talking about.

Most of the killings happen in the big cities in the USA, and most is over drug territories and gang related. I want to drive to see more in Mexico. I like the Sierras but that is dangerous to drive here now. I have had many friends and relatives killed here in Chihuahua that had nothing to do with drugs in just 4 short years. Never once in the USA in over 50 years. NOT ONCE!

Yes, the USA has murders, but it is confined to certain areas. I am much more cautious about my actions and when driving here. Never been in the middle of a shootout here, but I have heard them. My wife was stalled in her car the night they killed the 14 people in the Bar Colorado. She was two blocks away as they killed 14 people. She and the kids heard all the shots. I hear shots in the night! Not in the USA. But I did not live in LA, Detroit or many other bad areas either. A trip to the mountains in any area of the USA is never even a second thought.

Best wishes to you! I respect your opinion, but I have a different viewpoint.

Glad you are doing well also. Mexico is full of wonderful people like you! No reason to be mean to anyone, and especially a person that is not slinging dirt against other groups of people. Governments, corruption and criminals are fair game. But leave the good people out of that equation. Have a great day!
