And that's why there wasn't a right to bear arms in Mexico!

Road trip in Mexico anyone? Like to go see the real Mexico. Maybe head to Mexico city. Either number one or two in kidnappings in the world. Hit the resorts where you can see young guys in trucks carrying arms to protect you. Wait a minute! Why do they need soldiers driving the roads with weapons in the tourist areas if everything is so safe? Want to start a business. You will be taxed by the government and the Criminals. Except if you do not pay one of the taxes it can get you and your family killed. I am all for the Mexicans taking over their towns. Someone has to. It is getting out of hand.

You have good wisdom as you live in Mexico as I do. Do not like to make light of the situation here, but this just shows what it is really like in Mexico outside of the tourist areas. There are people suffering to no end, while tourists make the rich Mexicans richer.

I still think that armed civilians are only going to make things worse.
"The attack came just three days after a pair of Mexican tourists returning from a beach east of Acapulco were shot at and slightly wounded by members of a masked rural self-defense squad that has set up roadblocks in areas north of Acapulco, to defend their communities against drug gang violence.
The vigilantes say the Mexican tourists failed to stop at their improvised roadblock."

Yes. I saw that article also. They need a better way of identifying themselves at these road blocks. The problem is if they do nothing they more will die. It is never ending. Sadly people in war die from friendly fire. These people got lucky and are alive. This is the first incident I have heard like this among the thousands of innocents murdered.

It reminds me of the show the time machine. The warlocks let the people live until they needed to harvest them to eat some of them. them to eat. So the people lined up as they new it was part of the agreement so they good be taken.

The cartels and criminals suck the life, money and more out of peoples life's that just want to live in peace in Mexico. They can have a business but they must pay to keep it in extortion. They are kidnapped. Much of the time it is the police involved with the criminal gangs. Whole police forces have been taken out where every officer and commander and politician in the town was a Zeta.

The people in Mexico do not just worry about the Warlocks. They are being attacked by the criminals and the criminals that are supposed to be protecting them.

Best to stop as if it was a criminal road block they would have gotten shot anyway. It is a tough one Eduardo. Any ideas from you as to what can be done? The criminals are taking over. Even Calderon said on his way out that it can happen and you knew he was talking about Mexico. Because the highest in his command right next to him were against him. One of his right hand men was even leaking out information to the Zetas about where Calderon traveled each day and what his plans were. That is infiltration to the max.
