Big had the untouchable flow. Tupac had the emotion, he was the most poetic rapper ever. Eminem has mastered every technical aspect of rap, from internal rhyme, to multi-syllabs. Nas is also pretty technically savvy, just not the same magnitude as Eminem. But this YMCMB thing has gone too far. Is it even really rap? Lil Wayne hasn't done anything remotely good since 2004-2006. If you're arguing that Lil Wayne is the best, then you haven't even begun to scratch the surface of the art of true rap. I honestly wouldn't mind Wayne if he moved past the cliches, repetitive punch-lines, and awful rhyme schemes (AB-AB doesn't cut it). I'd argue that YMCMB is 90% pop music rather than rap.

Although I now try not to listen to any rap music that has explicit lyrics since it goes against my born-again Christian faith, unless those particular lyrics are covered up in a clean version of explicit rap, saying that Eminem is the best rapper ever is one of the dumbest opinions ever posted by Rolling Stone in the history of that magazine, though no offense to them. I think 2Pac WILL get his crown back as greatest rapper, which he certain is, and though my favorite had actually once been Dr. Dre, it will take some time for 2Pac to get his crown back. Even Eminem should agree that 2Pac, and NOT he, is the greatest rapper ever. Most people will say the same thing as well. Thank you and no offense to people with different opinions than mine.

No offense dude, but Eminem (real name Marshall Mathers) to most people is 3rd best at best, behind 2Pac (aka Makaveli) and Notorious B.I.G.(aka Biggie Smalls and Frank White). Most rap fans will choose to believe that Rolling Stone's opinion is quite flawed, and will lose plenty of membership for its decision. No offense to others, either.
