"Oh God he's sexy.....the tatoos set it off." And someone actually used the word "songs" to describe that bilge he spouts. Pathetic.

Say what you will right now.
Lil Wayne is the man!
He is the only rapper trying to make hip hop fun to listen to. He's a hardcore rapper that mixed fun back into the music. Now I wouldn't let my kids go to his concerts, because some of his lyrics are questionable and a little too hardcore for most kids and some young adults. As a English major, I love how he has mastered the English language. I tell the little kids I run across that want to be rappers, that it takes more then the love of music to make it in this industry now a days. Hip hop artist are coming out of college with English and history degrees, so if they want to make it, they are going to have to finish high school at least. Lil Wayne is making a lot of rappers step up and improve their personifications, adjectives, and metaphors. His rhymes are really fun to decipher, and you can use a lot of his tame rhymes to teach English lessons, like word usage and Iambic pentameter.

"Mom gave 14-year-old Danielle a ticket to see Lil Wayne as a Christmas gift and brought along her 7-year-old sister and some friends, as well."
And do people really wonder why we have so many problems with kids today?
And a 15 year-old thinks that a gangster drug-using violent raper is sexy.
The daily press is just like a drug dealer pushing this crap.

On January 23, 2008, Lil Wayne was arrested alongside two others. His tour bus was stopped by Border Patrol agents near Yuma, Arizona. A K-9 Unit recovered 105 grams of marijuana (3.7 ounces), almost 29 grams of cocaine (1.02 ounces), 41 grams of MDMA (1.4 ounces) and $22,000 dollars in cash. Lil Wayne was charged with four felonies: possession of narcotic drug for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, misconduct involving weapons and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The criminal already has two children with two different women. Just the type of idol your kids need. Another black piece of trash.

Who said that lil wayne was a role model? Folks, stop looking to entertainers to be a role model to children. Perhaps these parents allowed their children to go because they know their kids are aware who to model after such as the mother with the honor roll kids. Parents should be the role model but like everything else we want others to do it for us.

Who in the hell are you to call someone "a piece of black trash?" He has more money and respect than you will ever have. You are so jealous and it shows. Stop hating and get a life. If you don't like him, then don't go and see him. He will not miss you. We are talking about entertainment and nothing else. Why are you twisting things and trying to make it something big. Go and jump off a mountain. You are a racist ###hole.

"He has more money and respect". And that is the most important thing in the whole world right? Like his buddy 50 cent says get rich or die trying. It's a great message and guess what the black children in the east end are doing just that dying.

This newspaper is no better than a drug dealer. Glorifying the death-thug-drug-culture. There is a price to pay. My subscription is canceled.

Your girls would have then seen him and all of his glorified sexual comments, floor/air humping and the aroma of weed. Proud of that?

LOL, people bring their kids to listen to this stuff....then they go to school and use filthy language and degrade themselves and others and people wonder why...Lil Wayne is not an artist for anyone under the age of 18 in my opinion..and I do like some of his stuff, but I cant for the life of me understand how a responsible adult can see this as a positive thing for their child to be around, while Wayne can be very lyrical at times with his word play, there is just way too much "adult content" in his material to be suitable for children

Real musicians come to town and they don't get any type of writeup. A piece of trash like this comes to the area and the DP wastes gallons of ink on him and the people that think he has talent.
