I know Priscilla looked horrible after plastic surgery and Lisa actually sometimes just looks "bored with the whole thing". She like her Daddy just can't get contented with staying with her HUSBANDS - boyfriends, etc. People with high IQ's are often miserable for life holds no challenges for them, especially when they have it all - nothing to really work to attain.

How sad. Benjey likewise just looks bored though he definitely has his grandfather's looks he sure doesn't have his unique style and personality..

More like her MOTHER who just couldn't be contented staying true to her husband.

Wow, you people don't even know them. How can you judge what they do or whether they're bored?

Hi 2kingsdaughter, how have you been? Who are they talking about with the "high IQ?"

Hello Michigan! I'm ok, how are you? I suppose they're talking about Elvis and Lisa.
I haven't seen you on here lately.

I'm good, I quit here because of Lee. I have no desire to have any conversation with her.

Did you ever hear of Lisa having a high IQ? I haven't. We may be going to Graceland in September, just can't decide to drive or fly.

Sorry you had to leave the forum because of someone else. Sometimes I just get sick of the people here too. I've never actually heard anything about Lisa's IQ, but her daughter Riley is a card carrying member of Mensa. I'd love to go back to Graceland! So jealous! We drove, but our trip was just over 6 hours. I'd like to go in late November when it's decorated for Christmas. The one time I went was in spring. Hope you get to go and have a great time!

Yes, I figured I didn't want to go in August since its the anniversary and it's more crowded. I think it would be about an 11 hour trip from Michigan, so we may fly if we can get a good price. I've seen a zillion pictures of inside and out, but I bet it would be so different to actually be IN the house.

Oh, so Riley is the smart one!:)

According to several online sources, Riley is the smart one and from what I've read over the years, Elvis was too. I don't think anyone ever gave him the credit he deserved, nor did "he" give himself enough credit. Had he lived, he could have been the greatest record producer who ever lived. The house is something else! I don't know how old you are, but I grew up in the seventies, so I wasn't totally shocked by the decor. I've read a few reviews from fans who were disappointed in it. I'm not sure what they were expecting, but it certainly reflects the "time it was". And it reflects "him". The weirdest thing for me was the "feeling" of it. It literally feels like he could come walking down those stairs at any moment. Oh, and be prepared for the rooms! For such a big house, the rooms are small. But it's all worth it. If you haven't gotten your tickets, go to elvis.com and search for "ticket discounts". Sometimes they put them on there and you can save a few bucks. And whatever you do, please tell us all about the trip when you get back.:).

I was born in 1962. So the 70's were like my teen years, and our house had a lot of the same décor, green refrigerator, paneling and wallpaper. My parents are both gone now, but they left behind a lot of stuff from that era. I guess now it's called "vintage" :)

I even still have a jukebox in my basement that my dad refurbished. Quite a few Elvis 45's on there. I think it would be fun to see a lot of the things from that time.

Wow, I was born in 1962 also! You'll love the house and it's contents. My parents are still living but they gave me all their Elvis records so I bought a turntable to listen to them.
Hope you have a great trip to Memphis.
