The article is complete shit! Was this guy even at the concert? I was 5th row and I can say that this concert was amazing!!! Wayne interacted with the crowd almost the whole time, not his entourage behind him! He didn't forget lines and wasn't boring. This was the best concert I have ever been to... whoever wrote this article was obviously on more drugs than wayne to think that his performance was not up to par

"None of this seemed to matter to the crowd."

That's becasue the crowd suffers from brain damage, by definition. You could have put Barney the Purple Dinosaur up there and so long as he called Baby Bop a "ho", the bleary-brained crowd would cheer him and his "dino-digga's".

I think Wayne is a great rapper. I'm thinking that it took him at lot from where he grow up and came from and where he is now. He probably just don't feel like he should give respect or tell his fans that he is sorry for been late. I think he is going through a lot with his ex-wife, daughter, and his hometown being washed away by hurricane Katrina and they took away basketball and stuff like that. But I think he should be really awared for what he is doing to try and maybe help out New Orleans. Maybe he got that feeling that he can do whatever he wants to do you know. In "Tie My Hands" on Carter III he just really had sad and hopful emotions in it. I don't live in New Orleans but i sure would do anything for them and Lil Wayne.

im tired of hearin everyone dissin weezy and sayin 'im a old school rap fan' and 'hip hop is dead'. if u like old school rap then dont be wastin ur time on lil wayne forums, lil wayne wasnt even born when there was still 'old school rap'. if 'hip hop is dead' then there wouldnt be people payin $200 for tickets to see weezy f spit. i think the phrase ur lookin for is 'i dont fux'. all music evolves over time, this is just the step hip hop is taking and i have to say i wasnt originally a dirty south fan, but now i definitely fux with it

Lil Wayne has been the best rapper out from Dedication 2 to Da Drought 3. C3 was decent, but i personally enjoy his songs where he actually raps instead of the weird club songs he has. GIVE T-PAIN HIS SYNTHESIZER BACK WEEZY!

I can't stand Lil'Wayne. All of my students look up to him, WHY?!?!?!?! All he does is sing about gangs and degrading women. My kids think its cool that he talks about being associated with Bloods, yet the Bloods are killing people for real in their backyard. What gives?

I was at the concert. The wait was disappointing but I think Lil' Wayne's performance was great!! He was hyped and many times got the audience involved as well. It is true, he didnt apologize. But I think he made up for it by showing the fans how much he appreciated them. In the very beginning of his performance he gave thanks to the fans for supporting him and always being there for him. He also did the same at the end and said thank you FIVE TIMES to the fans. He even did a little gig with whitney houston song at the end to show the fans how much he loved them. His show of apprecialtion for the fans was genuine. All in all, I enjoyed his performance and DEFINITELY think it was worth the wait. And the response from the audience conveyed the same thing.

It's funny because this is almost exactly what happened at the show he performed in Mobile, AL back in April. The only difference is that he did perform entire songs. It's sad because we as consumers continue to accept such behavior.
