So your concern is with Mary J Blige? If she's religious, she wouldn't question GOD. You make no sense. The bottom line, she was questioning whether Elvis was racist or not. The people that knew Elvis and are long time followers of Elvis, know that he was not racist. Who cares was Mary J Blige thinks! Her legacy will not live on as Elvis' has. Go take your trash talk somewhere else. It isn't necessary here.
Fool what is your major malfunction?First you come at me about what the topic is now I make no sense!? Did you bother to read the article from which the topic was started? I don't think you did or we wouldn't be having this tired ass conversation about Mary J.Blige.Read the article and shut the F##k up!!Thank you!Why are people concerned with what elvis WAS or WASN'T that's what isn't necessary!!Take that sh## up the block! This is an Africanm American Forum!!

People like Kadafi, or whatever his name is, don't see that. IDIOTS. Elvis was who he was, plain and simple. He didn't try to imitate anybody.

Ok HONKEY-tonk man, I will. You "WHITES" were the ones who publicly stated that the planet EARTH was ROUND many years ago, THEN years later after other researchers retested that theory, found out the planet EARTH is actually F-L-A-T. You are one dumb boy you know that? I don't think I put any more vividly than now for you. You're just acting like this because you don't want to admit that you're not as bright as the shining stars "projected" you all to be LOL. Put the Crystal Method down and start embracing the truth for once. You result to insults whenever someone puts you in your place so I've noticed that.
Are you drunk???

Hey Ashley, I see you made your way to the Elvis forum. Did you like Elvis?
I'm too young to really know about his music history, but no I never liked his music. It doesn't interest me one bit nor his lifestyle.

Well, Elvis may have helped, but I don't think it was in his mind that he was consciously breaking down racial barriers. He did steal at least one song, which throws all these noble claims about him into question. He was a mediocre entertainer anyway, and I was under the impression that mostly white women were his fan base.

elvis stole most of all his material from little richard and chuck barry that is a fact elvis use to come down to the black juke joints in the south and copy the moves and styles of the performers if you ever watch the movie "the five heart beats " it tells a pretty good story of how alot of black performers were robbed of their identity and style it is what it is.

what black crew?......any of his back up singers were not crew. parker wanted elvis on the stage alone with every one else behind a curtian. elvis said no these people are my band part of my show......he admired and cared for all of them and you can see the pride in his eyes he got to be there with them..........and once and for all .ARTIST HAVE HAD FIFTY YEARS TO REPLACE THE MAN. I guess you got the Elvis quote from the same place you learned that the Jordanaires were a black band. They were a white quartet. Why are you all trying to fight your race wars in an Elvis Presley forum??? No one cares here.

HE never said that did you read the article? Dont think you did. If he was a racist then why did he like the music so much? He got a lot a crap for playing "black music" in the 50's when he first started. That right here says alot. He made it acceptable of the masses. It would have taken alot longer for "black music" to reach everyone. Alot of rappers are racist look at Ice Cubes cave bitch that song about white girls and full of hate. So it goes both ways and it needs to stop. Man its only rock n' roll.

James Brown loved Elvis. He called him his brother. Why can't you have any respect for his talent?? James & Little Richard obviously did. Give credit where credit is due.
