Hey Steve,
I read your comment about Bill's wig--YOU, my friend, are a joke and an embarrasment to all of the good ETA's. There were only 22 qualifying contestants from around the WORLD for the Ultimate Elvis contest and Bill was one of them--where were you? Wig or not, it's the look and the voice that count (at least to the paying fans), but we won't discuss your "private shows". Sounds to me like your just a little jealous that you are losing your paying fans to Mr.Cherry. do everyone's ears, and eyes, a favor--RETIRE!!!

Hi Steve,
My name is Jeanna and i'm 18 years old. And let me tell you something, I am a huge Elvis Presley fan. I have grown up listening to his music, watching his movies and even making speeches about him in school. And I know a good Elvis impersonator when I see one and you are not it. Bill Cherry is the best. Who cares if you wear a wig or not. It's all about the looks, the sound, the personality and performance. You also have to have Elvis in your heart. I have seen you before and you have none of the above. Elvis was a great man and a great entertainer....Not an airhead! Bill Cherry has all of the great qualities and does an excellent job at what he does. So give Bill a pat on the back and remember....Bill Cherry is the best! Thank you, thank you very much.

I went to the site and looked at the video.
Rick's pants are WAY to tight and revealing...that put me off...Elvis NEVER wore his pants THAT form fitting.*rolls eyes*
Rick's voice is decent, and he is in better shape than many ELVIS copiers...I will give him that.

Elvis was sexy with cuteness and class...not sexy with vularity. These tribute guys have some learnin' to do about ELVIS. They are missing the mark.

I really like the white outfit Lisa wore in "Don't Cry Daddy"...that was class, too.

Well if it wasn't Steve that said it....Then who was it?Hmmm let's see then if it is under his name it still makes him look bad. So he must not be too kind hearted. And if your not an Elvis fan...then why are you so concerned? We are not stiring up a so called pot. We are just standing up for what is right and we have the right to do so.

Well, to each his own. It doesn't matter what an ETA wears or doesn't wear, it is if they keep a positive memory alive for you. And yes, there are many ETA's to pick from. Steve is a professional performer and I have never know him to speak ill of any other performer. I've not had the chance to see Bill Cherry yet. But if I had to choose one I feel gives a sincere and accurate cruise down Memory Lane, it would be Tom Christopher and the TCB (Tom Christopher Band). I along with Sonny West, Sam Thompson (Elvis bodyguards) Sandi Pichon (friend of Elvis) and Jeanne LeMay (Elvis's secretary) watched them in Memphis and they are awesome. Just have fun with the memory of Elvis and as he used to say: "Don't sweat the big stuff man".

IMO it does matter if they are suppose to be representing Elvis. Just like it matters if their singing is close to the sound, and the physical appearance is similar to ELVIS.

I am turly am glad others are enjoying the impersonators. I suppose if I had not had the opportunity to see the real thing I might want to imagine also.

Go to the Tent in Memphis during Elvis Week and listen to Danny M. who hosts the entertainment. He looks nothing near to Elvis but his voice will drop you to your knees. It's all about the man, his memory, and his music. No one will ever replace the excitement of Elvis and his concerts, not in our lifetime or the next.

All this finger-pointing and name bashing is horrible. You people are missing the whole Elvis Tribute persona. I don't feel our ETA's (at least not all of them) feel as though they are Elvis .... They are out their full filling a dream (theirs and ours). It was Elvis who believed and sang, "Follow That Dream." Who doesn't feel as though Elvis Is Alive? Oh he may not be with us in body, but his spirit is with us in heart and soul. We all love and miss Elvis very much and would love nothing better than to have him back. But we can't. So, in my mind, all the Tony Roi's, Steve Davis', Tom Christopher's, Bill Cherry's, Shawn Klush's, Rich Vickers (a few names among thousands) help keep ELVIS ALIVE!
I am a huge Elvis fan and I hate to see all this bickering amongst the fans. After all, this is not what Elvis would want! There's enough room and audience out there for all the ETA's. AFTER ALL, it's going to take all of the ETA's to fill all the hearts of the millions of fans ELVIS left behind. Please do Elvis' legacy proud by honoring him and joining together. Elvis brought us all together in the first place.
