It's the parrot droppings that make the burgers special!

I went there once and the experience of cheap beer and lousy burgers made sure I never returned. You'd think the name would imply a decent burger, eh? Not!

Where will the wannabe Floridiots and bad ass bikers go?
The food really was not good and the live music sucked but please don't assume I give a rats about Gaywest Florida or I own a Harley and lots of black leather along with horrific tatoos. I went there because I was lost.

The folks who live nearby will be celebrating this one.

Best of luck to all the Islanders who worked so hard to make it work. Sorry to see this. Maybe OSI will do a better job in the future on market research and concepts. A lot of us invested a lot of money and time on this concept and are disappointed with the company as a whole.

I sure won't miss the joint, I went one time and it was the worst food I can remember being served in a restaurant. The prices were too expensive for the service and quality of food served.

the food sucked and the service wasn't that great either, but don't knock all the live music. Scott Raines, aka CommonSaints, rocks!!!!

Good riddance. We dont usually complain about price, but that place is most definitely over priced. We walked out one day paying about the same price for a meal at Carrabas, which is much much better. Mediocre food at best.

Bring on the Cheesecake Factory!

Sorry to see it go. Must of sold the property to a developer for another million dollar condo project(or welfare project for the homeless).

No big surprise there, lousy, overpriced food will only be carried along a little while by novelty of a new place. Folks wise up after a while. Employees have been overheard complaining about the management, which is no proof, but one has to wonder about the constant mention of mismanagement, or possible skimming, etc. It will be interesting to see if anything comes of that rumor. That was supposedly what happened to some of the early Hooters managers. Perhaps it is just to fact that when paying $3.09 for gas, there is less to spare for food which is marginal, at best.

Speaking of Hooters...I wonder if they are next. I drive by there almost every afternoon (>3) and rarely more than 6-10 cars in lot. Hmmm....

I love Cheeseburger in Paradise! They seemed to do a great deal of business, so it leaves me wondering why the decision was made to close it.

I don't think they would have been open this long had they not gotten the overflow customers from Longhorn Steakhouse.
