I totally agree. Thanks for the additional link.

Jon greatly inspires me. He has worked extremely hard to get to where he is today, and could sit back and just enjoy his wealth. Instead, he is using his fame and fortune for the good of others which is to be commended.

He is definitely a man who is comfortable in his own skin - to be himself. Of course I don't know him personally, but I have to believe he is unjudgmental. His example of how to live a very productive life and treat others will be his true legacy.

The purpose of the music and fame has lead to enriching the lives of others beyond mere entertainment.

It's not my fault he looks like an old man. Is he sick or what? He looks like he has aged 10 years since the tour has been over. No wonder he is retiring. It's to bad that he will not retire his other band the POS's

Charlotte why do you need to ruin thread. We all know that you don't like the man and no matter what he does it's never good, but i don't understand why you are interested by what he does. Why do you not focus on Richie next project. Can you just be positive sometimes and not always pick a fight. This thread is not about his look or his hair but an important project for poor people who need help.

Charlotte is right.. no denying it. yup sure he does some good in the world & kudos to him that he does this.... but his looking less & less like Jon Bon Jovi.. & has steadily started to veer away from his rockstar image.. not picking a fight, just stating my opnion.

As this thread is dedicated to something much more important than Jon's look I can only say this: when he's on tour he looks like a rockstar, while he's on a break he may not feel the need to be everyone's idol.
And speeking of yestarday's event - those poor people need help and Jon is the one that offers help. They need somoene who can make their lives a little easier not a f***ing rock- god with great looks!(actually he still IS and LOOKS like Jon Bon Jovi)

Liz, great post!
There are so many who benefit from his generosity. So many dedicated volunteers, as well.
Yam01, thanks for the link. I hadn't seen this and enjoyed.

He should stop calling the media. And if you don't want honest opinions don't post it. He looks old.

You make it sound as if he donated a considerable amount...the donations came from various groups of people. The majority from a private citizen...not Jon.

Yam01, thanks for the link. In regards to his hair - who cares what color it is. I think it looks fine, he's aging gracefully. And who here is not aging?

Apparently some on this board plan to never get older or ever get a gray hair. Amazing, they'll have to share their secrets. LOL Actually, sometimes a person needs to give their hair a break from the damage done from coloring, highlighting, whatever. What he does makes more of an impact than how his hair looks.

You are right I don't like the man at all! And I have a right to state my opionin just like everyone else on this forum. He looks like an old man and I said so! And when Richie starts his next project I will focus on it. But that still will not change the fact that the dictator looks like an old man.

at least someone is acting and dressing his age. Can't say much about the other guy who is trying to act and look young again.

I agree but he sure had the cameras out to show off again. Most of the money probably came from people barely making ends meet themselves. Maybe he was proving his point. Remember when he made remarks about Bruce and Bono not being hands on. LOL

And this is were it starts the Richie vs Jon thing people. Remember is came from a dictator girl first. So the next time one of them starts screaming foul about the Richie girls always starting it first remember this.
