Good Public Relations make it very hard for people to distinguish between paid news and genuine popularity.

That is why PR is expensive. And it can take a long time.

But many, especially those in the business, can differentiate between a paid Publicity (PR) and a genuine no fees paid event.

This what Pancham was alluding to in 1989.

AB has been continually working the media thru mostly paid events since 1973.

It must be mortifying to him to see the popular groundswell from people hearing about Kaka's illness and death.

Of course the media, as they usually do, followed the people. AB followed the people with his own Padayatra to AAshirwad. He did what the people felt a babumoshai ought to do. Of course, he could not but help himself on the day of the funeral. During this attempt, he also tried to create an impression of Abhishek surrounded by a sea of people. I bet you he had his own set of media to give him the best angles.

A week later he was in an olympic torch relay in London. He had his own media whose pictures he showed in his own blog at tumblr and in the paid media.

They said: " Rajesh Khanna was a superstar only because of RD musics and Kishore Kumar voice..."

Just tell them straight on the face this!
"Amitabh Bachchan era just had no appreciation to musics and songs. He just killed the melody with his anger"

kaka wanted to propagate great values and deliberately wanted to slow down a bit. Thats why he did what he did after 1975.

Whether it was after 1975 or before, Kaka always preferred versatility in subjects and performances, challenging attitudes, perfect characterizations and meaningful films with high moral ethics as much as possible in pure commercial environment without bothering the box office fate of those class films. So Kaka is/was/will be the one and only First and last True Superstar and Golden Actor of India.

i) Actually there was no such Amitabh Bachchan era in Indian film history; it was just PURE MULTISTAR GARBAGE FILMS ERA.
ii) For those who say, " Rajesh Khanna was a superstar only because of RD musics and Kishore Kumar voice..."---
Why lot of songs sung by Kishoreda and picturized on a star other than Kaka give the feeling that it is singing by Kakaji.
Reason-- Others are just used to utter the words mechanically and Kaka used to grasp the total song in his heart and then the songs came through his heart with emotional touch.

Bachpan ki woh yaadein dil dhoondhta hain,

Dil pehle bhi roya tha 13/10/1987 ko,hamare Kishoreda ke liye,
Mann mein yeh khayal aaya, woh kal bhi paas paas the,woh aaj bhi kareeb hain.....

Dil ek baar phir roya 4/1/1994 ko,jab Panchamda apne sur mein kehkar chale gaye........
Raah mein rehte hain, yaadon mein basar karte hain, khush raho, ehle watan ab hum toh safar karte hain!!!!!!!!!!

Why didn't kaka do this? It is called media managent. In a professional point of view kaka was not disciplined enough.

AB killed the beauty, the very essence of Hindi Cinema. His movies of the 80s are unbelievable, how can anyone, even with nano taste do them???????

And the 70s movies just reek of anger - enuf to give one ulcerites - to shake up a person's health from its very foundation. He killed the music completely. That's why private ghazal singers and other singers became so famous in the 80s because nothing good was coming from Hindi movies, thanks to this AB guy.

Naseeruddin Shah always says that Amitabh Bachchan will be forgotten with time 'cause an artist is remembered by his work and Amitabh has no decent work to show!

Nikki you are correct AB gave movies with mujras
Degraded women unrealistic action and bullshit
Movies!!!Totally corrupted the minds of common indian movie goers and introduced sex violence and crime into the lives of Indians.
What meaningful movie has he ever done!!!
Once he dies he will be forgotten forever!!!!'
Even his name will be worthless because of his
Idiotic son who no one will give a shit about when
AB dies!!!!!
Hopefully Bollywood will be free from the clutches of this monster with his demise!!!!

RK had R of RD and K of Kishoreda....
He was a real Kansen......

There r three types of people in the world of music----
Who can sing well-----known as TANSEN!!!!
Who has an ear for music---good music sense like RK-------called as KANSEN!!!!!!!!!
And those here on this forum wasting time of KAKA fans-----cant sing and can't understand music------they are called as NONSENSE!!!!!!!!
