Should latino boyz date black gurls?

Im a puerto rican female who moved from brooklyn to florida. in brooklyn latin females and black females dont get along at all. my son is 17 an he has decided he likes to date black gurls. me an him argue about it a lot. does anyone else think a puerto rican boy should only date puerto rican gurls. thats what i think.

yes i do get along with latina females...i have went to school along side with many latino girls and became very good friends with them and still are to this day...i have dated a couple of latinos and they have not all been good, but i sincerly feel that if you look past the black and brown thing you will really see that there are some similarities other than your language.

well i will tell u how it is in our hood. the black females and the latina females rival against each other all the time. it is a gang issue too. the puerto rican women r in Latin Queens and the black females r in Lady Crips.

i have alwayz been raised to believe that black females and latin females r natural enemys. here is why. both black women and latina women want to run the hood. we rival for men and we rival about who looks betta who dances betta an like that. it comes down to one issue. both the black gurls and the latin gurls want to prove that they r the betta woman.

Tamika is Lady Crip an i still claim Latin Queens. so that is a serius issue. but the main reason me an Tamika have hatred is the race issue. she wants to prove that shes a betta woman than me an i want to prove that im a betta woman than her. now she is my sons woman an that causes me to lose respect with my latina homegurls. whenever me an Tamika see each other we stare at each other with hatred. my son has tried to get me an her to truce but neether of us is willing to. Tamika has admitted her hatred for me an i have admitted my hatred for her.

now my son decided about a year ago that he likes black women better than latina. that is y me an him have not been gettin along. an now that Tamika is his woman things r even worse.

i dont know if u can understand the issues but that is how things stand.

I understand the issue...its more socially as far as the hood thing....i grew in a hood in chicago and still live there, but i guess because chicago neighborhoods are so seperate we never had the issue with competing, but when i was in school where the girls were mostly latina it would be the mexican and puerto ricans fighting each other and the black girls socializing with both.

I mean here yea i think its natural for a woman to get upset when they see their race of men with another woman that is not of their background, but times have change and no one can change the laws of attraction.

i think he will eventually comeback to his puerto rican women, or maybe not....just be happy for your son if this girl is making him happy...

4reel? latina gurl would fight each other in ur hood? an black gurls an latina gurls get along? i never seen that. i admit that since i moved to florida i dont feel as hateful against black females as i did up north but thats because the black females down here dont treat me with hatred. i have even got to be friends with a black woman at my work.

yea i just think it varies...i mean until maybe a couple of years ago i didn't think that latino men like black women...i tried dating a couple mostly mexican and for them it was a sexaul thing and the two puerto rican guys they were fun to be around, but the distance was to much, but i did get the looks for the latinas and understand why, but many latinas date black men too.

yah i hear what ur sayin. in my old hood a lot of puert rican men liked black females and a lot of black men liked latina females so the women had a lot of tension u know. it aint tru tho when peeps say that latin men dont wanna be with black women. i meen in my old hood when a puerto rican man cheeted on his puerto rican woman u know who he cheeted with? a black woman thats who. so i have known lots of latin men who like black women. i have been out with a puerto rican boy an he has his arm around me but then all of a sudden i see him smilin at a black female an i get mad u know.

GET A LIFE try doing something positive get a formal education and a degree so you could provide for yourself and your son better.
