I am no longer doing the gig @ the Princess Alexandra in Crouch End . I found it to be way too much aggro being a band leader at my time of life....and most guys don't seem to like having a female band leader even though I did all the work, hosted all rehearsals and dealth with the publ and lord there were wingers and moaners aplenty (who can be bothered with all that!!!)....but hey! if you still want to see some Jazz funk check out the jazz cafe on 5-6th December 2008.

I will not be able to make the Jazz Cafe gig in December, my claim to fame is that I 'engineered' the first Freeez gig in a pub in Tottenham, Bluey told me to turn up his mike, I was about 14 !

I was 12 in 1981 and remember this song well.
Stumbled across it again when doing some Google and U tube searches of various things from the 1979-81 period, news, politics, music and so on.
Southern Freeez, and more specifically, Ingrid's beautiful voice is just compelling and will always stay with me. I hope she is still involved in music. I feel lucky to have lived at the time.
