no way could anyone do it better. the people at the bottom are working hard everyday for you. I can't talk about higher ups or how much they make or what they do but you don't have a clue what the carriers do to help the people they work for out and to cut the carriers pay and health plains. I would look high up in the USPS not at the working people. But to make it private, to say that is a joke. I wouldn't want anyone else to handle my mail that's just crazy. your life all your info everything is in the hands or these people and they don't get paid that much what $40k $60k please tell me $35 k a year is a great wage for what they do

don't know about where you live but here it may as well be private,,hell all the mail is delivered by so called contract carriers..thats who ever will deliver in a old junk car at the cheapest rate..of course the fact that they got cluster mail box's,,often located 1/2 mile from a house,,means if you expect to get your package you will need to use fed x or ups any way..far as trusting your mail to a private company,,face the facts,FedEx and ups..are much safer,,look at how many mail carriers are busted each year, stealing mail, the numbers will shock you,,from net flix moves to money orders..the USPS has a much higher theft rate than fedx..and the law is on there side, because the way it is you can not sue them..open them up to law suits, then see how long they could last..

“Which means we have two paths to choose between. On one, we continue to operate the Postal Service, and watch it lose hundreds of billions of dollars. Along the other, we sell it to a private contractor, avoid those losses while cashing a nice big check.”

SELL IT. Make sure the new postal carriers can be fired when they jerk their customers.

No wonder they are going out of business.

Arrogant phuking aholes who abuse their federally protected status.

Let them retire on Social Security. That is what most of the carriers I've encountered deserve.
