Wouldn't that be hilarious if the spot goes to a Republican?

Another seat going to the highest bidder. Best government money can buy! Where's Blagovich when you need him to broker a deal?

So because Jessie was such a spoiled child that he could not resign before the election Illinois has to spend money it does not have to re-run an election that was just held. Prehaps the money should be taken from the Chicago Public schools and not from the rest of the state.

That and $1.75 plus State, and city tax will buy you a cup of coffee?? Those people are so behind on their taxes, the cities in 'his district' have filed for bankruptcy? So getting them to pay for anything, beside their daily ration of 'Ripple' would be laughable....

I don't think they will even do that as they are so dependent on the government.

The plan,'from the top', may be, make the debt problem,'too big to fail' at the local level. Requiring a federal mandate (tarpX), once a majority of this new slavery is assembled, tell them the cost.
