I didn't put them in the same catagory. And Eminem onl add celeb names that he doesn't know if he feels their name can fit in one of his rhymes (i.e.Christopher Reed, Peewee Herman and Micheal J. Fox were some celeb names he used because he could help fit together a pethora of multis Kim Kardashian: she actually went on Shade 45 and said it was amusing). If Emenim has something that is just to diss someone, usually he has a reason behind the diss.

Eminem does tell stories sometimes and he is more into lyrics.

"Eyedea and Eminem are like apples and oranges: Eminem is a better written rapper than freestyle." That was my exact words. Their experiences are too different to make that call of which one is better than the other. What I meant about Eyedea is not an Eminem was that he doesn't have the mainstream fame. I stand by those words and I know that Em cannot touch Eyedea in the battle curcuit. Em knows that as well. I never really said there wasn't a difference in their styles.

There are times when I want to listen to Em and there are times I want to listen to Eyedea. To me their ethnicity doesn't make them better rappers. Their bars make them better rappers. It would be extremely hard to weigh both of their bars equally. There will always be people who like one artist over the other, but at the end of the day it is just a matter of opinion. I actually feel like I'm beating a dead horse when all I wanted to do originally is give a condulance and tell off people that was dissing Eyedea (from Minnasota) in the first place.

And Here in Vegas, stop trolling this forum grouping rappers in the same catagory. No one is putting a gun to your head and telling you to listen to rap. What you are doing is very disrepectful.

I was genuinely curious. I like Em too but I have to say, if he dropped his celebrity smack talking in his songs for nothing more than shock value (Chistopher Reed!) he would have a lot more of my respect. Not that I want a perfectly PC rapper, after 10yrs in the spotlight, it just comes across as gratuitous and lazy.

Well a lot of his celebrity disses that are just for the songs are just used as a form of word play. He even says to them not to take them seriously because if a certain last name will appeal to him, he will use it.

I DO A HUNDRED YARD DASH JUST TO SLASH KIM KARDASH IN THE ASS WITH A SHARD OF GLASS FROM NICK HOGAN'S CAR CRASH!

If you want hear it from the horse's mouth, here is a interview on Jimmy Kimmel (skip to the 4:00 mark).

I would say he takes rhyming to an obessive level. For instances on 60 minutes he knew at least 5 other rhymes for the word orange and claimed to have read a dictionary so he can have "all those words at his disposal at all times." I would seriously take the celeb smack with a grain of salt.
